I am writing this review as a teacher and as a parent. First of all, this school it fairly new. The school itself is very nice. It is located in the Glucksdadt area of Madison. There are some things you need to be aware of. They are building homes left and right in this area. Cheaper homes. The quality of this school is going down fast. If your child is gifted, you will not have a problem. However, if your child has adhd or needs a little extra help, this isn't the school for you. They claim to do tier interventions for the struggling students, however when asked to provide proof of that, there is none. There are some jam up good teachers here, but I have also heard some teachers say some things to students that should NEVER be allowed. The students that struggle are looked down upon and it's so sad. ALSO, since administration changed about two-three years ago, the school has really struggled. A lot of teachers have left and if you're not the "chosen few" your job will not be easy. The area is growing fast and the school is getting way over populated. There is sometimes 25 students to a class. As someone that truly loves children, this place makes me sad. I am writing this review on the lower school, I have not had any dealing with the new Upper school they just built.

Mannsdale Elementary is a great elementary school! My son has learned more in the first month of school at Mannsdale than he did in an entire year at MRA. I am so thankful that Madison has a great public school system, which is why we moved here!
