This school is on the trajectory to be outstanding. The parent teacher relationship is so open. I take advantage of the current small class sizes. School lunches are great quality and equal opportunity. It’s amazing what this school has accomplished despite opening during a pandemic. The use of technology and up to date learning and facilities makes for a very transformative and safe learning experiences. My child is learning emotional intelligence and politeness. Not just colors and shapes.

My kids love their school and that says a lot. There have been ups and downs but all of that has created character in my kids. I will say that Hillside Elementary has rocked the virtual learning and the transition has been painless and very organized. I'm so impressed. My kids have been priveleged to be apart of this school from the beginning and it's only gotten better year by year! Thank Hillside!

Not great. This is the second year it's been open, and it's clear there are problems. We've tried addressing a few things, but we're always shut down. Speaking to other parents, it's a common issue here. Looking at the test scores reinforces how well this school is not doing. The kids are all high-achieving and travel from far away. There's also a really high level of parent involvement and a low population of kids with learning problems or disabilities. There is absolutely no reason for the test scores to be below the state. I would caution anyone considering sending their kids here to look at other local schools and the demographics compared to Hillside.

This school has been the best for my student. We left a toxic school environment and my student has been the most engaged and excited about school he has ever been. He feels so at home and has made great connection with his peers, teacher, and the principal. He has learned and grown so much, thank you Hillside staff!

This is an excellent neighborhood school. It is still in its growing stage as this is the second year it has been open. The school is only going to get better.

I am so thrilled that my child gets be apart of this amazing school. I could not be more pleased with the level of learning my child gets from his teachers and the communication and input they provide back to me. Every person from Lisa at the front desk, all of the teachers and the principal are all so welcoming and kind. I could not ask for a better school/ school district to have my child be apart of. Thank you Hillside School for always being exemplary role models to our children and for your methods of STEM based learning. I can not say enough great things that this school has to offer!!
