If you want your child or children to get bullied or get in trouble fast then this is the school for you if your child is bad they miss recess and lunch time with peers they locked in a room with only work they get in trouble for so much little thing it's insane I do NOT recommend this school

Are you looking for a school that will low key neglect your children!? Look no further! Here at Lynn haven elementary the staff and the principal will completely ignore your children's and your concerns and issues, allow other students to harm your kids multiple times, then when you give your child the okay to defend themselves if needed they will say your child is the problem. As well as taking away what Little basic human rights they do have by taking away "bathroom privileges" as discipline for extended amounts of time each day for over a month without asking or even mentioning it to you. Then they will blame your child for these issues and tell you that" they aren't sure what they are supposed to accomplish" by having a sit down meeting with you and said child. There is no point in speaking with the new principal to correct any type of issue as she is on the most ultimate power trip and has no urge to correct issues or ensure your child's health and safety. If this is what you have been looking for, then this is the perfect place for you! If not REMOVE your children ASAP!

I give a 5 stars for all the kind and friendly people working there. BUT in my opinion they should think more to nurturing the mind of the children instead the body. From the first day of school, the teachers ask to send in healthy snacks. All is coming from the parents is fattening food. Every party is filled with cupcakes, donuts, cookies.... Other States only allow the lunchbox for your kids, no food can be shared with other child. When two years ago we enter this school, the rating was 8 ....now is 5

This is a terrific school! The 4th of my 5 grandchildren starting K this year and we are so excited for her. ALWAYS a warm smile from even the support staff. It's the epitome of the "hometown school"!
