Small school that feels like a private school in a lot of ways. Still teaches general subjects like spelling and cursive

Same complaints as others. The school turns a blind eye to bullying and the principal gets very defensive when approached about it. The principal gets defensive when approached about anything in general. She likes to pick on poorer families and talk down to parents as if they are children. Nothing is ever done about any complaints parents have because she never believes anyone. She gave my son ISS for smiling at her when she was talking to him knowing he has mental issues and is only 8. She likes about things and when called out on them she threatens to have your kids expelled.

Worst ever my son talked about killing himself because the principal never believes others say bad things to him and says things in the defense mode that means nothing but he is always the one that gets in trouble!!

Great school. Family has been in this town for generations and will continue to be that way. Staff is great and school is safe.

If you like bullies and staff that does nothing about it, then this is the right school for you.
