As soon as our son got accepted for McKitrick, we went to the school to register him. We already knew that the school was amazing for our son but from the moment we sat with their registrar, Ms. Raquel Guadalupe- Cartagena, we knew we definitely made the right decision! She was the most caring, welcoming, and informative person we have ever encountered! As future kindergarten parents, all of this is brand new to us but Ms. Raquel made the process extremely smooth for us. This is a huge step for us and for our soon and her kindness, care, and understading through it all was out of this world. Thank you Ms. Raquel for everything you did to make sure our process as as easy as it could be! McKitrick is lucky to have you!!

Mrs. Raquel was amazing from the moment we booked an appointment to register our child. Having such a great person, with such great personality in the office, made us feel confident about the decision to send our child to Mckitrick. God bless you Mrs. Raquel!

I want to thank Mrs. Raquel from the registration office. She was the kindest most helpful person when registering my child at Mckitrick. She was a major support when we had some issues with his previous school. Mrs.Granell has also been amazing. She has been supportive of our concerns and had given us some great guidance. We are super happy to be part of McKitrick.

The teachers are amazing at this school and basically run it! The front office staff is super nice and welcoming. The PTA is beyond amazing and always willing to go above and beyond to do anything and make the school a great place. School leadership leaves a lot to be desired. Administration is difficult to work with and treats staff differently based on if she likes you or not - as both a parent and a staff member.

A super good experience. My child comes from another school where he was not happy and crying all the time. From the beginning the treatment and attention of the school staff and the teacher is extraordinary.Especially Raquel guadalupe cartagena. Your help and support at all times has made the whole change very easy for me. especially that she speaks English and Spanish and we can communicate well. Without a doubt, it is the best school I could choose for my kindergartener.

It’s our first year at here and Ms. Raquel was so great with the admissions process. We were coming from out of state which can be very difficult, but it turned out to be a seamless process. Looking forward to a great year.

Our daughter Emma is starting at McKitrick Elementary School this year. We wanted to take some time to thank Raquel Guagalupe for the extraordinary help, caring and professionalism she has shown us. She helped us get our little Emma registered and ready to attend school. Raquel has enormous energy and I'm sure it wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did without her help. Raquel was very supportive and understanding in a way that is rare. All Mothers, Fathers, parents, you should feel safe to leave your precious cargo in her hands.

I am a new parent to this school and cannot speak more highly of the exceptional standards of the faculty and administration. Right from the moment of registration it was an excellent experience dealing with the school. My first contact was with Mrs. Raquel Guadalupe Cartagena, who not only patiently answered all my questions and concerns, but most importantly made sure my son was looked after throughout the journey and helped us every single step of the way to make this an amazing experience for my 1st grader.She is a credit to the school and an absolute fountain of knowledge.Mrs. Cartagena, your kindness, generosity and motherly affection for my child has really touched us. I would also like to thank Mr Matthew Moffitt and Mrs Angela Baker, who made sure my son was looking after and cared for.

We transferred to this school a couple months ago and it has been a great experience so far. Ms. Raquel, who handles registration in the main office, was such a wonderful liason for us from day one. She listened to my concerns and really seemed to care about our family. The school community, teachers, and staff all seem fantastic!

This school is amazing. I have had a great experience. They get to know the child and match them accordingly to their teachers. My son is in second grade and every teacher so far has been awesome! I can’t wait for my younger twins to start next year.

This school is just fantastic. The teachers are very dedicated, the admin (esp Ms Raquel) are so helpful and accommodating. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful local school for our children to grow and learn

Mckitrick Elementary is one of the top academic schools in the county. My son loves his school and the teachers are amazing. The teachers and staff make sure that ALL the children are safe and having a wonderful school experience. I am so glad that my son gets to go to such an amazing school. I am forever grateful and know my son is in good hands here.

Both of my children attached McKitrick elementary school. This is a wonderful school. All teachers are great, especially Ms. Flynn, 4th grade teacher. My son is very fortunate to have her as home room teacher. She did fantastic job in this year e-learning class. She is always patient, encouraging to the students. I was home while they have e-learning and over heard her lessons. Her class is very pleasant and students are very engaged. She is one of my son favorite teachers.Overall McKitrick is a great school in the district.

I am so blessed all my children have the privilege to attend this school! The teachers and the staff are the best of the best and because of them my children's educational foundation is strong. I especially love Mrs. Raquel Guadalupe Cartagena, the care and the love she displays in body language and tonality when she communicates to children, parents and everyone around her always makes me feel at ease knowing our kids are in good hands. McKitrick is one of the best elementary schools in the district. The principal, Mrs. Cline, is a wonderful leader and the faculty and staff are fantastic. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful, especially Raquel and Sandy. The music program is outstanding and both of the music teachers are incredibly talented. The gifted program is also a huge asset to the school and the teachers in that program work hard to have a great impact on their students. Our family is so thankful for this school and the positive role it continues to have for our children.
