This school does not support it's special education or Spanish speaking students at all. My niece went here and she told me that the teacher apologized to her through google translate that she didn't have enough stuff for her to do because the school didn't have any ESL books for her. The teacher was nice enough but the school failed to help my niece

I think that teachers wrote these comments in 2005, but in 2013, things are a little different at Roosevelt. Principals hang up on you teachers threaten corporal punishment when they do not have permission and the teachers cant really teach.I agree with the two other comments i found on this site slamming the administration for there scanadlous way. I once to was a victim of a sub par administration at Roosevelt High. Even given proof to the superintendent berl robertson still dismissed it and a Mr. Miller and Mrs. Morrison and Officer Lopez with dicrimination tried to place me in DAEP. All over something i proved didnt happen. Now i have a problem with a teacher bullying a student Mrs. Yost saying she will use punishments for various reasons, all crazy.
