Year 2022-2023 this semester so far on the first day of school they’re making us stay in a hot building with absolutely no ac at all everyones sweating and dehydrated but guess what they don’t even give us water bottles anymore for free and make people pay but there are so many poor kids that can’t afford it and there’s no working bubblers and the ones that work are disgusting, even the teachers tell us we shouldn’t drink from them. It’s not okay for all the kids that go there to feel like they can barely make it through the day without passing out. They’re Not letting kids where hoods when you can clearly see there face with it on yet people wear masks and you can’t even see their face. There are kids with insecurities and that helps them get through their day. The staff don’t seem to care about the kids well being only about they’re strict rules. And mr.Fiato head of school was being super strict and following kids around on the first day when everyone’s nervous. I don’t understand it this school needs to improve. Get air conditioning, take into consideration how kids feel. Do better.

Awful school. Poor teachers and administration. Avoid at all costs. I used to teach here

School/teachers play favorites. They make little things into big deals and big issues swept under the rug.

I wrote previously about our decision to move from Bedford to Lowell. Back in Jan 29, 2014 I wrote "We moved from Bedford, MA to Lowell this past Summer and my son in (9th grade) enjoys it far better here!" Now 3 1/2 years later, I'm here to report that my son made it into West Point and is at the Cadet Basic Training getting ready to start school in the fall. Thanks to Lowell High's Junior ROTC leadership training, State Championship cross-country team and Latin Lyceum academics. Best decision ever!

I went to school here & it's only improved since then each year. This school is large and there are many activities for students. There are all types of students and there are several levels (college prep, honors, ap are only a few) to ensure your child is with like minded students. Most teachers are accessible and care that you want to learn & do well. I know plenty of students whom attended Ivy Leagues or the like. This school is the effort you put in it & there's so many activities & groups you will find your place in it by pursuing your interests.

I'm currently a Junior at Lowell High School. I have been to three different high schools in the past three years of school, not including the year between freshman and sophmore year that I took off to have my son. This is by far the best school I've been to. The majority of teachers CARE. They help me out a LOT knowing that I have a child, and Don't have it easy at home. Despite this, I will be dropping out this week. My guidance counselor, knowing that my mind is made up, is helping me look into different GED programs and helping me to make a stable plan. Most counselors I know wouldn't bother. I love this school, and I'm glad that I got to experience people in power that actually care. I really needed that and it gave me the confidence to make the decisions I have and actually KNOW that i can succeed.

Lowell High has a well rounded educational advantage for students. It is diverse and has connections with great city leaders and colleges.
