Most horrifying school ever, they refused to give my daughter water causing her become dehydrated and in need of medical attention, teachers yell at an degrade the students, and to make matters worse my daughter come off the bus limping and falling to the ground with a sprained ankle and they attempted to cover up whatever happened to my child by calling child services luckily I had everything documented, I recorded conversations with principals and teachers and of course never sent her back. Homeschool your child or do whatever you can to not allow your child at this school.

Mr. Hill is an amazing principal. Teachers in this school care and really work hard to make it a learning community.

I have a grandson at Watterson since kindergarten. He has always been a honor Student and made national elementary honor society in his 4th Year. I love this school!

I am a very proud parent and i realy love watteerson elementry i am so sad and happy at the same time my son has bee going to this school for the past 5 years, now he will be graduating on the 31st thank you all for taking such good care of my child and teaching him God Bless you all

I have 3 children at Watterson. I love this school and teachers and faculty. They really go above and beyond to help the kids succeed. Mrs. Head, the reading recovery teacher is absolutely phenomenal. She is working miracles with my twins. The teachers are very informative and keep parents informed and involved which is so important for your child's success. <3 WES

My son is in his 4th year at Watterson (4th grade). I give the staff at Watterson a 5. We've been very fortunate to have great teachers that care about the students and really want them to succeed. The basketball program is nice as well.

This is my sons first year at Watterson Elementary and I couldn't be more pleased. After hearing everything in the news with regards to JCPS I was hesistant about enrolling him in Jefferson County with the low test scores and all. That is not the case now though, his teacher Ms. Keiber is very hands on with his education and just all around Great!! He is a bit more advanced in some areas and she works with him to keep his attention to new things. All around I am extremely pleased with this school.
