Leadership is does not exist at this school. My son had a good teacher who walked out on the job than he had a different sub everyday for over 2 months. I pulled him out of Trunnel it’s rhe worse school ever.

I graduated from Trunnell three years ago and it was okay at first, but I never really enjoyed it. Not just because I had to get up early or any other typical thing, but because of the teachers. I was able to push through up until 5th grade when my grades drastically dropped and was moved out of AP classes. I didn't get the help from teachers that I needed, and even though I needed AP classes, I was never switched back due to the fact I continued to struggle with math. It was the worst last year in that school I could've ever had. I'm still in comp classes now three years later because of the lack of help I got early on in math, even though I score above grade level in other subjects. This school really messed me up.

I have not had any problems with trunnel or the staff. Staff are always friendly.

I couldn't be more pleased. The staff at this school are amazing. My children enjoy going to school everyday, they are learning, making friends, and feel a part of the community.

My son is currently finishing his kindergarten year at Trunnell Elementary, and I am impressed. I read the reviews below from 2009 and was worried, but I went to visit the school, met the teachers and met the principal and found nothing to worry about. Every single person that I have had contact with has truly impressed me with the amount of care, kindness, and dedication given to the students and families. This includes the principal, the counselor, the teachers, the staff, and the students. I can safely say that having been in all three kindergarten classrooms, I found a great productive environment where kids were excited to learn. My son went from barely reading, to reading at the level of a first grader and the year isn't over. I highly recommend Trunnell Elementary and I am looking forward to first grade.
