As a proud father of two current students and an alumnus of St. Mary School, I can confidently say that St. Mary’s is a wonderful place for children to learn and grow. With a strong foundation in Catholic values, St. Mary School offers a nurturing environment that fosters both academic excellence and spiritual development. One of the standout features of St. Mary School is its incredible sense of community. From the welcoming faculty to the involved parents and dedicated staff, everyone feels like part of a larger family. This supportive atmosphere not only enhances the educational experience but also helps students build lifelong friendships.Academically, the school maintains high standards that encourage students to reach their full potential. My sons, in 1st and 3rd grades, have thrived in a curriculum that balances rigorous academics with creative exploration. The teachers are passionate and committed, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and support.Overall, St. Mary School is a fantastic choice for families seeking a quality education rooted in strong community and faith. I am beyond impressed with St Mary School. The level of education provided is outstanding, with a dedicated team of teachers who go above and beyond to ensure each student's success. The smaller class size fosters a strong sense of community and each student gets the attention they need to thrive. St Mary's emphasizes faith, academics, character development, values, respect, responsibility and teamwork.

The great sense of community is one of the main reasons we love this school. If you are looking for an education rooted in spiritual growth in addition to academic and social growth, this is the school. My oldest mentioned the other day how happy he was that he graduated from here and he really appreciated his experience. He loved the public speaking opportunities and creative projects. He participated in musicals and student council, played sports, and altar served. It is safe, nurturing and has a committed group of parents and staff. We've had eleven years at St. Mary and are grateful both our children have had such a positive experience.

Having grown up attending Catholic school, I knew I wanted my kids to have the same faith-based education. After looking at various Catholic schools in the area, St. Mary’s was a stand out due to its amazing community and the class sizes that allow for true personalized learning. The teachers are tapped into the uniqueness of each of their students and help foster their desire to learn. They support not only their students, but also their families along the way. My daughter is in first grade and has had so many wonderful opportunities, thanks to her teachers. She’s been able to practice public speaking at morning assemblies, enjoys spending time with students in all grade levels in the after school program, and has been able to participate in so many fun and exciting activities that have helped her grow as an individual. St. Mary’s also has an incredible parent and parish community that supports and volunteers at the school. It’s been amazing getting to know the families and becoming a part of this wonderful community over the past couple of years.

Our family has 2 children attending St Mary’s and it was a big decision for us on where to send our kids. We live in Los Gatos and have access to wonderful public schools and an incredible community, and hadn’t really considered a Catholic education due to the amazing schools surrounding us. The incredibly tight-knit community is really incredible at St Mary. It’s so special that all kids across all grades know each other and care for each other. You get to know all the families, all the siblings, and that’s so important. They say it takes a village to raise a child and I believe our village now goes so far beyond the teachers and classmates but truly extends to the families and parish. We are so happy with our decision to join the St Mary community - so many fun events for the whole family including the Country Fair, pep rallies, spirit days, sports, and other fundraisers. Not only have my children formed friendships, but we have become wonderful friends with many parents as well. We feel so lucky to be here!

We absolutely love St. Mary School. Two of our three kids are currently attending and our third will start next year. We have had the most wonderful experiences with the teachers, classmates, and community overall. The school community is very active and vibrant - holiday parades, pep rallies, community service and outreach. For our family, the focus on educating the whole child has been just what we were looking for from our school community. The teachers at St. Mary have ignited our kids love of learning with academic challenges, in depth projects, and tailored support for different learning needs/styles.

I am writing this review after being at St.Mary's and can honestly say it has been a great experience and would highly recommend the school to others. We have 4 kids, the 4th one will soon be at St.Mary's. When we started searching for a school for our kids, we went back and forth between public and private, then which private school. We looked for quiet sometime, attended various open houses, talked to many parents and teachers and finally made our decision on St.Mary's. What drew is initially to the school is the community and the environment that was fostered in the school and the families attending the schools. It really felt like the right community to have our kids grow up and learn in. After the initial draw what has kept us as the school is the great educational program. The teachers are very involved and pay attention to the needs of the kids. We feel like we are getting the best of all worlds at St.Mary's, between education, community and spirit!

My daughter recently transferred to St. Mary's School. She loves it. We see her happy and motivated each day. We went through the experience of helping our older child through the same school system she was in, and felt in our hearts that a school like St. Mary's is truly a place to build well rounded, caring, and confident child. As to academics, my daughter now enjoys learning and doing homework. How the teacher works with students and parents is a world apart from our previous experience. The benefit goes not just to her, but to our whole family. I know many families have the same experience of stress when parents trying to do teacher's job at home, and tension grows as the child grows older. Since my daughter started at St. Mary, I no longer need to give her second math lesson at night, or extra reading to learn "summarizing". We are all happy. Knowing what are the challenges ahead through high school, we are very happy for the decision!

I am going into 8th grade this year at St. Mary's School and I have attended since 4th grade. In those four years, St. Mary's has taught me so many quality lessons, whether it be academically or spiritually. The teachers are amazing, the principals kind, and overall it is just a very welcoming, friendly school that I am so appreciative to have been given the opportunity to attend!

Saint Mary's School has provided my two sons with outstanding academic, social and Catholic formation. In particular, the middle school teachers are all world class in their fields and have gotten to know my sons personally so as to create a deeper bond and help them grow more as students, young adults and Catholics. The elementary teachers are caring and nurturing. The athletic program is no-cut, yet competitive, and great fun for the kids, run by a wonderful Athletic Director. The close-knit environment creates a real sense of community. The principal is committed to outstanding academic and Catholic education and although no school is perfect, she makes the appropriate adjustments from time to time to continue the school's growth as well. The school was ahead of the pack in terms of use of technology as well. I'm so glad my 6th and 8th grader are there.

We sent our children to St. Mary's becauuse we wanted a Catholic education with a large community involvement in the kid's lives. We were not willing to sacrifice education quality and we wanted success int he classroom as well as outside. We have had 5 kids graduate and move on to High School and all did very well and the 3 already in university have been able to choose between Ivy League, UC, excellent Catholic and other Top Tier universites that they love and we are very proud of. St. Mary's was a decision we made 20 years ago and it has turned out great for all of our kids.
