From the moment we joined the Transfiguration community, it was evident that the school places a strong emphasis on instilling Catholic values in its students. The integration of faith into daily activities and teachings has been a source of comfort for our family, aligning seamlessly with our religious beliefs.Academically, it has exceeded our expectations. The curriculum is robust, challenging, and designed to foster not only intellectual growth but also emotional development. The school's commitment to academic excellence is apparent, and our child has thrived in this stimulating environment. What truly sets Transfiguration apart is its unwavering dedication to social-emotional well-being. The school has implemented impressive programs and initiatives that focus on developing students' emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and overall well-being. We have seen firsthand the positive impact of these efforts on our child's confidence and interpersonal skills.

Transfiguration School is a hidden gem. I truly appreciate the dedication and commitment of the school principal and staff. The school and church community are very supportive and have a family-like atmosphere. The school communicates with parents often by sending a weekly newsletter and both of my children's teachers use apps to communicate with parents frequently. When I drop off my children, I have a sense of relief because I know that they are safe and in the hands of adults that genuinely care about them. Academically I am pleased with the curriculum and integration of technology, each student has access to their own iPad or chrome book. Most classes are small ranging from 15-20 students and have one teacher per classroom. The school also offers PE, art, dance and music weekly. Overall, Transfiguration is a perfect fit for the needs of my children and family, we definitely plan to return next year. I know that everyone's experience is different and many parents have a different perspective. However, this platform is intended to share your experience not bash or tarnish a school's reputation.

My child went here from prek-8th grade. I watched the school slowly go down hill…If your school is into sports don’t send them there once a school known for good sports team they have none. No cheer no basketball no football. They had a track team last year and it was a mess. The male coach is rude. They had an amazing dance and music program and lost both teachers the Christmas shows or horrible the kids use to enjoy them now their forced to do african dance because its a free program. You pay all this money and its low budget the harvest fest use to have rides and games no longer.lunches terrible athletic field day terrible they charge us for our kids to be in smaller classes sizes thats about it. Oh your tuition covers nothing they want you donate and fundraise but wheres is the money going classes dont have a/c so you may get a call during a heat wave to pick up your kids. Honestly they need a new principle.

This year makes 7 years with Transfiguration. I am definitely satisfied with the education and my child meets all nationwide guidelines each year. I do sometimes have concerns that the uniformity of the catholic school curriculum doesn't allow for the teachers to attend to specialized needs, however, if you are actively parenting and involved with your child's daily progress, I believe your child can succeed. During one year, I had to communicate weekly with the teacher and principal to make sure my child stayed on task. The staff generally are qualified and care about the children. I've had only one issue with a teacher whom I believed lacked the necessary experience. The school is small and safe and really embraces christian values. The children are taught respect, self-love, and community. I plan on my child attending through 8th grade. Some of these reviews are unnecessarily harsh because I promise you there is no way that I would keep my child in a place that allows the teachers to be rude, mean, and yell and blah blah. Everyone has different teaching styles but the point is, are they learning and thriving? And I would say from what I have seen over the last 7 years, YES they are!

Exceptional school, Christian environment, and faculty/staff. Very grateful for the investment in my child’s education.

This school and their staff is underwhelming and under qualified. The students here aren't even close to receiving a quality education. They are not challenged or pushed to greater learning capabilities and the school lunch is deplorable too. I know several other parents who have pulled their children out mid year! Parents please do your research. My husband and I assumed this school would be a good fit for our family but it isn't worth the money...not even half! This quality of education that these kids are receiving is poor to say the least and some of the teachers are bullies.

My child attended this school for 3 years and left first few months of the 3rd year. Teachers and staff extremely rude. All they do is yell at the children. My child has PTSD from all the screaming they do to these children. I wouldn’t recommend this school.

I have 4 children and have seen the administration change over the years and it keeps getting better and better. I am very pleased with the changes and agree with the way the principal runs the school.

I am so thankful that we found this school when we needed to make a change in schools some years ago. It has been an amazing experience where my children have been able to thrive. So grateful for the experiences at this school!

The leadership (aka Principle) is awful. She doesn't listen to the parents, she doesn't care about the children. She removed my son's teacher mid-year to teach another and never replaced her, had different teachers coming in and out for the rest of the school year. She has no clue what is happening in the classrooms and gets very defensive when you try to address issues. Even though this school is close to our house we are going to another school 5 miles away as we feel the administrators truly care about the students and teaching and making a positive impact on our children's future.

Very poorly, I will not recommend anyone to this School. Unless the Administration and staff get the proper training they desperately need.

Horrible, horrible experience with this school. My grandson is still trying to shake off the stench of this school. Inadequate staff is an understatement. Do they recruit their teachers using "Craig's List"?

Inadequate staff when it comes understanding the variation of individuals and their learning.

While the students and parents are extremely kind, the administration has poor attitudes. Team reflects leadership and the principal of this school lacks empathy, and true leadership skills. She "reigns" as a dictator using passive aggression with the children, parents and staff. In addition, they employ antiquated methods of child discipline while highlighting methods of punishment as their primary driving force of discipline control. This is not a good school. The entire administration and curriculum needs revision and overhaul.

This is the worst school. The principal lacks empathy for parents of children who are bullied. She is very defensive and conceals the truth to the point of denying the bullying events that occurred. She may have some fooled about her subpar leadership.

For years Transfiguration was considered to be a great school however, within the past several years this school has had lots of staffing changes and unfortunately not all for the better. I would suggest that anyone considering enrolling their young child should talk to some of the parents, interview the teacher and principal. Some of the teachers are great and some are fresh out of college and have no experience. The Kindergarten teacher seems sweet, but incompetent. The principal seems knowlegable, but not very interested in communicating much with parents. I suggest you save yourself the headache and look for another school.

I think this school is amazing. It has helped me excel in my grades, and improve my study skills. I will be attending High School next year and I'm proud to say that Transfiguration has taught me everything I know. I am thankful to my teachers and mentors who've helped me throughout the years and led me in the right direction. Transfiguration is the best! GO EAGLES!

Parents PLEASE do your research on this school before admitting your child. The past reviews I found was posted by school administrators; not real parents. Real parents have been pulling their children out of this school at an alarming rate. I'm one of those parents who this school has disappointed. Transfiguration used to be a pillar in the community. They served their community well & gave children the most desired level of an education. Transfiguration was in the business of producing upstanding citizens who had the right tools & life skills to serve any community. Now this school is in the business of taking money from any unknowing parent that fails victim to their OLD reputation. The school admin has taken a backseat in screening students. Now A students are taking the burden of not being able to focus due to disruptive, disrespectful, & disobeying students. Rather then remove these unfavorable students, Transfiguration has decided to keep these students & keep taking money from naive parents. These students have been kicked out of their previous school & are considered uncontrollable. And Transfiguration needs to start being HONEST about their current state of disarray.

My child graduated last June (2013) and is attending a private high school. We have been so blessed to have been a part of Transfiguration's family! As my child goes on to the next phase of school, we will always be grateful to the administration, faculty & staff!!

Transfiguration I have had my child here at Transfiguration since pre school and now he is about to graduate. We have been so happy here at Transfiguration, as my son has come to feel like his classmates are like family. I love the family atmosphere of the school, and everyone works together to benefit the children. i hope our family can find the same atmosphere at our new school. Thank you "Transfig" for a wonderful year!
