Selma is a very special school! Teachers, families and students are a tight-knit community. Teachers are very supportive and attentive to the emotional and academic needs of their students and their families.

Selma Avenue Elementary school is the best school. All teachers in Selma Avenue Elementary school are the best, especially Ms. Castillo. Thank you so much, Ms. Castillo, from your attention.

This is a school that will treat your child like family. It has a phenomenal autism program. I encourage every parent that has a child with autism to see. This is a school that will make your child feel like they belong, they matter, they are important. Any school or teacher can assign homework and teach lessons, but the depth of caring for each child you can only get at Selma. From the office staff, to the teachers and the administration - this school cares deeply about your child and their learning experience.

The school is a glorified babysitting program. I don't feel like my child is safe at school nor do I feel like they want to see the kids excel.

Selma has an excellent principal, a leader who gets thing done, an asset to the community and our children. We are lucky to have her overlooking Selma.

Principal Glendy Marin is ruining Selma. She is a terrible principal. She treats everyone like garbage. She has no people skills and treats parents like they do not matter. She is the reason that there is no parent involvement at this school. She thinks she is superior than everyone else.

My review was never posted! This school does not care about its students! No action was taken when children were being mentally abused by numerous teachers... They let these teachers continue working here even after they would continue doing the same actions! Like not allow children to use the restroom children only 6 yrs old..!

Who are all these phantom parents and are they talking about the same school? These parent reviews are anonymous...very interesting.

Selma is an excellent school! The principal, teachers and teacher assistants at Selma care, and work hard to make sure that every child is successful. They are very dedicated towards their students. I love this school and I am very thankful my daughter is at Selma.
