I recently came to this school. So far my son likes his teacher, is nice and easy to talk to. I agree with some of the previous reviews there is a lack of presence from the principal and vice principal and my son tells me that there's very little soap and paper towels. My son likes the lunches. There is after-school childcare for a fee. They also have mandatory volunteer hours but it is not easy to get information because the lady in the front questions too much and the secretary does not return calls. It is a small school by the freeway.

My daughter will graduate from this school this monthg and I am very pleased with the education she received here. She was coming from a really bad school where she was bullied and the kids at this school accepted and welcomed her with open arms. Ms. Cohen worked really hard to catch her up in with all the assignments during 7th grade. Mr. Codio was very supportive and help as much as he could. You can tell the teachers from all grades work really hard and have so much potential. They are gracious and I never heard any of them screaming at the kids. I really like that. They students are well educated and applied the values really well. Parents should be more involved with the school's activities, In the 2 year there I always saw the same parents, helping and volunteering at the school. There are about 400 kids and only 30-40 parents help over and over again. Parents education start at home, teach your children to volunteer by doing it yourself. If you want the school to change, be the first one to change. Parents Get Involved in your children's education, volunteer at their school!

as a graduating student in this school , i have to say it has come a long way . I started back in Kindergarden , and came up to 8th grade . This school is amazing , the people are nice , the teachers care a great deal , and everyone is so friendly . We learn from each other not just the teachers . We have fun activities throughout the whole year . Durning halloween week we have spirit week , during Christmas time , every grade performs for the whole school , and by the end of the school year we have a Huge party ! For everyone to come and enjoy & Everyone performs . We have free-dress , every friday , and we get an early out on wednesdays . Overall this school is great , Ive been there for 9 years , and its one of the best places your child can be safe . Its an amazing school , and all the teachers care a great deal . So parents if your thinking about sending your child here , you should , it's a great start for your child's future .
