As a Sophomore at Crespi Carmelite, I can proudly say that this school feels like home. I have never felt happy or heard in my school career but Crespi changed that. This school wants to hear you and cares about what you have to say. When I first toured this school, my parents and I were skeptical about it being an "all boys Catholic sports school". I was always a quiet and shy kid who never wanted to play sports, but touring Crespi changed me. I immediately felt right at home and pictured myself here for all 4 years. Freshman year, I joined cross country so I could make friends. Little did I know, I would fall in love with the sport! The coaches and staff are so encouraging and want nothing but the best for you. Everyone at Crespi makes you feel like family and thats because you are. I always volunteer for Crespi and try to represent this school, because I feel honored to be a Crespi Man. I couldn't imagine experiencing high school at any place else. Thank you for everything Crespi!

My freshman son is thriving at Crespi academically, athletically and socially. He was a struggling middle-schooler due to ADHD and COVID-related learning lapses from virtual schooling. But now, he is in a supportive atmosphere with teachers and administrators that care. They are molding men who make positive contributions to society, and they take the "Crespi Man" philosophy seriously. Academics and athletics and theology/ethics are all strong aspects of the school, and community and parent engagement are emphasized as well. They believe that boys learn differently than girls -- so if you support that belief -- then you should send your son to Crespi.

Crespi is not only strong in the academics, but it teaches boys how to be men in a nurturing (not cut throat) way. They are known for their sports program, so if your son is big on sports, a perfect environment. My son was very happy at Crespi, and was accepted to several top tier schools.

If you have concerns, don't bother expressing them. Make sure you don't put down any of the admin staff. Have a regular, connected kid who is competitive and doesn't need any extras. Not only did they mostly ignore my requests and questions while in attendance, they are ignoring the school psychologist at my child's new school who is seeking information/records etc. We still pay tuition even though we are not in attendance...we did politely ask about being relieved from even some of the tuition since we left mid-semester but we got absolutely no response which has been just about par for the course. I didn't expect them to ignore an outside colleague, but they've ignored School Psych's multiple attempts to reach out. This is a great place for a lot of kids, but mine left the school mid-semester: miserable, burnt-out and entirely deflated.

My son is a current senior, he started as a freshman. 4 years in and we couldn't be happier with this school. The staff is amazing, always available for the students and parents when needed. Administrative staff is also so great, really feels more like a family or community. Even during the pandemic I felt my son was getting a strong, consistent, education virtually. It was very well organized and structured, which was not the case for many public schools sadly during this time. College acceptances are starting to come in, and the support of the counseling department during the whole process has far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Crespi!

The best all boys school in the San Fernando Valley. Our son chose this school for it's great academics, sports, campus and student life. We could not be happier with Crespi. Plan to send our youngest son here as well. We LOVE Crespi!! #celtpride

My son is a freshman. He had joined the Crespi family last year with mild hesitance because it's an all boys school but now he can't imagine leaving the school; he wants to graduate from Crespi. I loved that school since my son was in middle school when he had attended a football camp. We didn't' even apply anywhere else. At Crespi we feel at home; it's a community of like minded individuals, teachers, administrators & families who genuinely care for young boys to become productive & responsible citizens. They are completely vested in creating a better future by instilling values & morals; from class rooms to football fields.

This Catholic, college prep insttution is amazing. We are extremely impressed with the dedication and commitment each and every teacher and coach has. They sincerely want to see your son succeed here. Communication between school, teachers and students is outstanding. They definitely teach these young men what it means to be responsible, mature, independent and accountable and yet still somehow manage to keep the parents in the loop. We cannot say enough great things about the academics, sports, student affairs and campus ministry. We have been told that we are at Crespi at the best time ever and we believe it. It is worth every penny. Crespi has exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait for our younger two sons to attend this outstanding institution. Our son works hard and is challenged each day, and most importantly he is the happiest he has ever been. His happiness speaks volumes about the school too.

My son is a freshman at Crespi and I have to say I am delighted with the academic quality of this school. The Christian education is an added bonus.

Since coming to Crespi as a Sophomore, our son has grown tremendously as a student and a person. He has gone from a C-student to Honor Roll the last 4 semesters, while competing in athletics. The teachers and staff really care about each boy and take the time to give them the individual attention they need.

If you have an opportunity to send your son to another school please take it. Parents are ignored. Too many teachers are concerned with being "in charge" rather than inspiring and helping students excel and eventually get into good colleges

My son transferred to Crespi as a sophomore and is now graduating. The past three years have been filled with much growth and maturity, deep learning, strong teachers in AP and Honors courses, enthusiastic coaches, and the Crespi brotherhood. The Gurian Institute training really shows in how well the teachers teach boys. The Taiko drumming program is outstanding and has been an integral part of our son's success, determination and discipline. At Crespi, the Faculty, Coaches, Administrators and staff know how turn boys into men. We couldn't be more pleased. Our son is well prepared for college.

I have been treated as well as my follow friends who have kids starting 9th grade 2012 with nothing but respect from Crespi and the administration...more so then any other school...it is not a show, it is not a song and dance. This is a real caring amazing school. I have and my follow friends who have their boys attending starting 9th 2012,..have all had nothing but the best of the best. and I know several graduates and they are smart as whips and have successful businesses but most importantly they tell me "Crespi changed me and made me a better man"...Im there! boo-yah!

This school is an amazing find! They really do "teach to the boys" which enables them to be themselves and really excel. The sports programs are incredible, but I really feel the academics are what they should be commended on. There is such a wonderful group of boys attending Cresi who welcome new kids and make them feel like part of the community right away. The boys have a true sense of brotherhood which encourages them to be more involved in all aspects of school.

My son currently attends Crespi. He is very academic and cares a great deal about his school experience, both in and out of the classroom. There are honors and AP classes for those who wish to pursue their academics at a higher level. The Latin teacher manages to make Latin "cool." The taiko music program is stellar -- an amazing musical outlet and discipline for young men, and the only one of it's kind in Southern California. The all boy environment promotes a palpable feeling of "brotherhood" when you walk on campus. Your child does not have to be an elite athlete to enjoy the camaraderie that comes with a team sport. Many kids are trying a sport for the first time. The school believes that it's good to keep boys active and that they benefit from having an instant peer group. There is an ease that doesn't exist with girls in the mix. We have met some wonderful, supportive kids and families. All in all, our experience at Crespi has been a truly positive one.

Crespi at its core is an outstanding school. It has always been a benchmark for the nearby competitor schools. The faculty and staff are wonderful, fully committed to the development of young men to be successful beyond their high school years. The bond that boys develop is special. Alumni regularly stay in contact with one another and the school. However, the administration does not seem to have the same vision as the faculty and staff. They have driven out outstanding teachers (more than 30 in the last seven years) and maintain a hostile environment for those who remain.

Tremendous passion for creating opportunities for your son. They get teenage boys, who sometimes make goofy choices. But Crespi shows them love, and pushes them to greatnes. Extremely strong college placement. Wonderful community atmosphere. Having girls out of mix in classroom--priceless!!

Excellent Teachers, AP/Honors Courses & Athletic Programs. Boys become proud Crespi Men thanks to faculty that are academic/personal role models. Dedicated Campus Ministry, Staff & Extracurricular Activities provide opportunities to build character & spirituality. Administrators & Development slow or non-responsive to parent concerns. Often unreachable or out of town. Make frequent calendar changes. Don't utilize great parent base effectively.
