The office staff, principal, and some special education staff are wonderful people who take their jobs seriously and do them with pride. However, you have some general education teachers who do not want children with exceptional needs in their classrooms, so they tell parents things like, "I think your child would do better in a special education class because I can't ensure your child has the appropriate time to take tests." Or I don't change diapers and can't ensure your child's safety when on the yard. The school needs to ensure that the unique resources teachers are pulling students with disabilities from the class to test instead of placing them in a class where they will be learning nothing. Hire responsible yard staff to keep the children safe and teachers who want to teach children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

My experience at this school is a 10, the main office is very pleasant.

My child goes here. There was an outbreak of LICE and the parents were not notified. Some of the staff have bad attitudes and are rude! The principal is there for show, to make herself look good. I was hoping there was going to be a change in leadership this school year, but there wasn't.

My daughter attended this school when she was in kinder garden teachers were excellent. Parenting classes were great. There was one little boy that was calling my kid names. Teachers did address it but in the end it goes back to the parents.

I would first like to say the principle of Angeles Mesa is doing a great job "A1 in my book". We had an issue with my son who is autistic, so my wife called a meeting with the principle, vice principle and his teacher. I can say when it has come to other schools in the district the principle in the school was never involved with any of my son s support issues. Mr. Thompson was involved and put together an action plan in the meeting to get my son back on track. This type of dedication to students is hard to find these days.
