Both my kids did all their elementary ed here. Both had great teachers and were brought in to AP classes. Most notably, they learned to believe they were capable.

I moved my young child here after 5 years in a local Longmont charter school. My child was behind in Math and Writing. My child scored a 7 (out of 100, average was 50) on the first math assessment. The local charter school had left my child, who does not have a learning disability, so far behind it took some hard work to catch up. By the end of the year my child was not only caught up to the standards of the grade but slightly surpassed. I credit the wonderful experienced teachers at Eagle Crest, the principal and the curriculum that is not afraid to teach motivated students. Please consider carefully the schools where you place your children. Charter schools may seem great on the outside but may be harboring curriculum that doesn't stand up to scrutiny and inexperienced teachers. Public schools have time-tested curriculum and experienced teachers. I am so grateful I moved my kids before middle school. Thank you Eagle Crest.

The principle is amazing and the teachers are very strong. This is a school where my children really matter and where they have grown emotionally and academically. Whether it was my son's anxiety issue or my daughters problems with a peer, the school took us seriously, listened to our concerns and helped us find solutions every step of the way. I am so grateful for Eagle Crest and Mr. Ball.

My daughter (with special needs) has soared at Eagle Crest! The leadership, special ed staff, and her classroom teacher have gone well out of their way to create an amazing learning experience for her! The specials staff is motivational and very talented!
