My son went to this school for Pre-kThe staff is amazing and the teachers really care about the students. They are kind, fair and professional. My son got a head start coming here and learned so much at an early age. He learned a great deal of skills and learned about being kind which was very important to me. I tried to instill that at home but it made a much bigger impact coming from his peers and teachers.

This school has been the best decision we made about education for our daughter! There is a great sense of community, commitment to the children and academic excellence. The teachers go above and beyond, and my daughter is very happy!

When we moved to Island Park and I made the decision to send my daughter to LBCRS I was worried. Worried that she wouldn’t fit in, that the Long Beach kids wouldn’t embrace her etc...Well I couldn’t have been more wrong. The kids welcomed her with open arms! The older kids paved the way for the younger kids. I see that most of the reviews are dated on here which is why I wanted to post. There is a strict policy against bullying and there have been many effective assemblies teaching the children against bullying.

Listen to the reviews below. Completely agree. Wasted a lot of money here good until 5th grade then they favor the cookie cutter kids. Academics poor

Totally agree! If your child isn't accepted into the "in crowd" he/she doesn't stand a chance. My daughter is in her 8th year and has not 1 real friend. Total trash attends this school. The bullying is out of control especially if a child in the " in crowd" is involved. There is no discipline for the "special kids". I regret sending my daughter here.

The Pharisees would be proud. Hypocrisy and arrogance are the norm with rigid adherence to medieval-like rules. That is unless you are in the "in crowd". Those in favor can do no wrong and children sadly learn early that certain people are above the rules. Early grades are crowded with no access to basic amenities, like a cafeteria. No compassion for any child who does not fully fit the cookie cutter mold. Why pay for this? Public schools in LB are far from perfect but much better in comparison.

Sent several of my children here as well. A very serious bullying situation which was not handled properly was just the beginning. The principal needs to retire and the staff needs a face lift. Classes are now overcrowded for the early years and dwindle after each grade for many reasons. It reminds me of a cult and if you are not related don't expect your child to play special roles. They truly love the families with the bank accounts as well as their own (meaning any of the family members or close friends) and therefore are not capable of treating everyone equally. Just walk through the front door and let me know who greets you, and better yet with a smile then go to the public school and meet real people who are genuinely interested and care.

Sent several of my children here. Great for the first three years or so, then the nastiness starts. The principal is so far over her head and cannot manage discipline problems. Some of these kids are just shanty trash, and with the favoritism and incompetence they are not handled properly. Great environment for the little but after Grade 4 or so, my kids were damaged. Teachers vary in quality. One was mean, belittling and harmed my daughter forever. I spent almost $100,000 here. Save your money. The public schools in Long Beach are very good.
