it’s an okay school. im not sure if i feel the safest, though. if youre a public schooler, say in like elementary, and come here when you get into middle school, there is unfortunately going to be some pressure put on you. and some of the kids are going to be rude, and sometimes the teachers ignore it. personally, i will be sending my kids to a public school, because my experience here is not so good. i dont have a problem with the teachers, though, i think they are okay. i just dont agree with how they think mental illness is a hoax. or how we are in the same classes every year with the same kids. there are some scary scenarios here and there, but everyone has been safe. all im gonna say is, be safe, be yourself, stick up for yourself no matter what, and be kind.

My two grandchildren attend St. Edith Elementary School and it's the best decision our family has ever made. The entire staff, from the principal to the custodial staff are genuinely caring individuals who form a huge family to support and educate the children in a Catholic environment. The teachers are super! They take a genuine interest in each student and recognize that not everyone is at the same learning or maturity level. They provide activities that instill the principles of sharing and compassion on all grade levels. For example, student families contribute socks for the homeless, food for soup kitchens, and make greeting cards for the elderly. During the ongoing Covid pandemic, children continue in school face to face but are given opportunities each day to play outside in fresh air or burn off energy in the gym in a safe environment. All students attend Mass on a weekly basis, either in church or virtually. Prayer is a regular part of each day.Students at St. Edith are challenged academically. Kindergarteners learn basic reading as well as addition and subtraction through age appropriate activities. Everyone has Spanish class and computer lab with lessons related to their grade level. Competitive team sports are offered in conjunction with CYO. Each morning when we drop off our little ones, they are greeted at the door by Ms. Jackie, the school secretary. We leave our children, confident in the knowledge they are cherished and cared for by the St. Edith Elementary School family of dedicated administrators, teachers and support staff. I am so thankful that we made the decision to send our precious children to this school!

I have two children currently enrolled at St. Edith and couldn't be happier. The curriculum, staff, sports, activities, children, parents, and the school itself are all great. Starting our forth year there and I have not one complaint. We look forward to another wonderful year at St. Edith!
