Okay. This website really needs a new review for Live Oak High. Ignore the other reviews claiming that LOHS is anything less than great. Those reviews don't even matter anymore. That was the past, this is the future. Trust me, if your child is a dedicated student, they will go far after attending LOHS. The staff and the students are amazing. They are so supportive and so caring that they're like a second family. Education is more impacted here than sports. There is going to be about three or four new teachers this year so I don't know what's gonna happen there...There is also a Goodness campaign going on at school right now. The staff is rewarding acts of kindness at the school. This campaign was instigated (I think) by our beloved principal, Tony Walton. And another thing: Someone here said that most Seniors haven't made it past algebra. Right? Well, this year's Senior Class has a lot of GRIT because there are so many students signed up that we now have two Calculus periods. Usually, there are about twenty students in Calculus every year. This year that number has doubled. And in just one year!

The student was below average in English but still received an "A". The people who says this school is good is kidding themselves as they probably didn't attend college and still lives in Live Oak. I mean come on! The alternative school for bad kids is less than two hundred yards away!!! Just remember to not dress in all BLUE! Former student ...
