This school is awesome i got a girlfriend and made some friends its pretty good.

People say that our high school is "close-knit", but in reality, the school is almost separated into an ancient Egyptian caste system. You have the jocks and cheerleaders, equivalent of pharaohs. The so-called "nerds" are basically peasants, and anyone below that is the modern-day slave. Most of the "problematic" students don't actually do anything to get into trouble, and the students who do never get punished. Most of the time, they get treated as victims. I'm speaking as an honor-roll student who is constantly bullied. Some of the best people I know are considered "troubled" and some of the worst are hailed as star students. Our school is almost completely sports-based, and we hardly have ANY focus on academics.

Community based, caring teachers & staff. Perry County is a small town that cares for everyone.

This school is very focused... on sports. They have finally started replacing the teachers just drawing a paycheck with those wanting to teach. The principal is very accommodating if you have a problem or question; but, the superintendent makes your situation sound important yet he does nothing. The kids are very close knit with the exception of a few who are allowed to cause problems because their "home life". It is a decent school

This school is a pretty decent. The rules aren't that great. It seems that if you're even remotely different you get in trouble. Whether it's for your hair, ideas, clothing, etc. Kids get in trouble for the silliest things. From having holes in your pants to having a tiny bit of color in your hair. What if you're not so wealthy and you can't afford any new clothes. And adults tell us to be creative, and then you take it all away from us. It's not a great place to send your children if you want them to be creative and make friends. The fact that the teachers are quite rude and the kids are mean and cruel really distracts from your learning abilities. Students will have to learn to grow up fast and learn how to deal with really harsh people fast. PCHS seriously needs some work before I ever give it a good rating.
