Both of my students loved EJMoss. They had wonderful, caring teachers who made learning fun for all. My son has ADD, and the staff worked diligently to help him be successful.

TLDR: i was accused of bullying someone who actually bullied me and the teachers punished the wrong person even though they were aware of her bullying me.I used to go to this school about 4 years ago, I’m in 8th grade now, and I just have to say it’s a TERRIBLE experience. During this time is when I was introduced into regular drama that goes on during school. The teachers were terrible and handling it, and it seemed like all the teachers were against you. I’ll admit there were some teachers that I did like but they still handled things poorly. Ever since the 4th grade there was one girl who was constantly around me and my friend. She started bullying us and kept clinging to us even though are parents called the school to tell them to keep her away from us. Then one day at recess we were playing a game with another group of girls, this girl that bullied us wanted to join but the other girls were aware of the girl bullying us, and they decided they didn’t want her in the game with us. They told her to please leave but instead she started throwing a fit and the girls automatically went against us. One of the girls was disabled and in a wheel chair, she was the one who went to go yell on us even though we weren’t the ones who told her to leave. So after that the principal came to talk to us and accused us of “bullying her” even though she was the one bullying us all this time. We tried to explain but they still gave us a D-hall (detention). And it wasn’t till after my mom went to the school to complain they took the d-hall off my record. But I still had to serve half of it. And even though it was me and my friend who were falsely accused of bullying, she still got the detention since her mom didn’t complain on her side. Oh and I should also mention ALL of the girls except for the one who was the actual bully got punished even though she admitted to doing wrong.

Strong GT program and quality teachers who genuinely appear to care for the students. Their AIM program sounds like it will help teachers have more time with individual students working through whatever they are struggling with.

My son has been in the Lindale School District since 1st grade. He completed through 5th grade because we had to move for reasons out of our control. It is the best school district in East Texas. He was prepared so well and the teachers loved him! He also loved them and loved to go to school. Now he hates going to school. The district we are in now is horrible. He is in 6th grade on a 12.4 reading level and most kids in his class are on a 3rd to 5th grade reading level. We are now in the position to have to move again to put him in a decent school district. We really hated to leave LISD and we truly miss it. Keep up the great work!

My son has been yelled at and threatened to be sent to juvinile detention just for arguing with another student and when he started here in the second semester and his grades slipped because the teachers because of the threats of getting arrested for something stupid, i wouldent recommend this school to anyone

The band directors are terrible, they yelled at my son just for not playing his trombone right and the teachers make fun of students. and they dont tell parents about any of the bulders club and choir club or any other electives like that in this WHOLE district
