My daughter started here last year in 9th grade, was bullied. I called police to my home a total of 4 times in just a few months. She was hunted down and attakced the last day of school. The faculty suspened the student for the first 2 weeks of the following school year?? not enough!!!! I have been told by law enforcement that the school principal tells them he has in under control so that his school does not look bad. I would say home school is a better plan than this school.

I am being relocated for work to Lima OH. I am a single mother of two kids (2 yrs & 11yrs). Can you please help me learn the area? I have been looking online at houses and the prices are INSANE! 98k for 2000 sqft? That is just unheard of in my are of PA. I know every town has its bad parts of town and weather nusances. And every school district has its not so good school building. What city within 25 miles would you recommend I look into that has a great/good (what is the 2nd or 3rd school you think of) school system (elem, midlde and high), safe, rural/country houses, without a high cost of living? What schools to avoid at all cost and what areas to not move/rent. I will be living in the area for about 8 years. This is my first huge job relocation that I have not one bit of knowlede about the area. To be honest I am so scared not know knowing what kind of area im putting my kids into. I just have this gut feeling I am going to make the worst living or education decision in my life.

Both of my children go to Perry. Ok the review below mine is correct there are more open enrollment at Perry than our own resident status. I feel the school does need some open enrollment but Never more than you have of you own. They. have good teachers but the officals there have run a few of the great teachers off choosing to get rid of the older teachers. They went to hiring young or "fresh from college" There are way to many things going on over! at the school than I have time or space to write if u are consider Perry please realize that just because it located in the counrty dont always mean its a country school!!!! Perry is more of a city school anymore! I believe you would better off in considering another school! If we didnt owe so much on our house we would move out of this district I loved Perry at one time went k-12 graduated from there.We built new home in Perry 5 yrs ago and I truely regret it now the school has changed way to much to be a small country school. I believe it will all go city before its over........

I think this is a fantastic school! I've had 4 of my 5 children graduate from Perry; the youngest to finish in 2013, all of whom have went on to specialize in meaningful careers! The school utilizes competitive learning techniques, much of which will be used at the college level. I could go on an on! Thanks Perry! I gotta give you 5-Stars and 2-Thumbs Up!

This school stinks.This school teaches nothing,and my daughter gets in trouble for nothing all of the time.We are moving.
