    I can't say enough good things about this school, its staff, administration and teachers. We moved my son from private school to Independence and he has thrived here. Every effort is made to teach the kids and create a great learning environment.

    This school is amazing. My daughter absolutely loves attending each day. The teachers are so caring and motivated to help each child succeed. The principal is enthusiastic, encouraging, and friendly - he somehow seems to remember every child's name AND every parent's name and greets everyone with a smile as they enter the school. The office staff and school nurse is super friendly as well. But most of all, the teachers do their job teaching the students the curriculum - because of them my daughter is doing exceptionally well - she scored very well on her state tests and received excellent grades in all of her classes. We couldn't be more pleased with Independence Elementary!
