Overall, Northwest was good at creating a nice environment. I personally never had an issue with the school. There are a lot of worse schools in the area. Teachers have definitely improved over the years. I have had/heard of some not so great teachers. The overall staff were nice to all students. Sometimes, staff would over or under exaggerate things . For example, one time I got hurt pretty bad while at recess to the point where I had to go to urgent care and almost had a confusion, the outside staff told my worried friends who saw what happened to "not worry it was just a little scratch, and she just needs to clean it up". Northwest was easy on the students and also allowed students to have fun and important relationships with peers and staff.

It's taken me a long time to write this, but this school was downright awful to my child. My daughter had some anxiety and sensory difficulties going on which made her uncomfortable speaking with people she doesn't know, teachers were very unaccommodating and downright disrespectful and rude. One instance in particular I had gone to a parent teacher conference and was walking alongside my daughter where one of the teachers commented "oh look its the mute" I'm guessing because it took a long time for my daughter to get comfortable with someone before engaging; not knowing I was with my daughter at the time. This school is absolutely disgusting. My daughter being only in 1st grade, how do you comment and bully a child like that? If children are struggling or are having certain issues or disabilities do you bully them? Apparently at this school you do. No wonder my daughter felt uncomfortable talking to any of you because you were bullying her the entire time making disgusting comments. You're a school with TEACHERS who are supposed to help children --> not bully and make nasty comments. Once my daughter did switch schools she was a completely different kid. Do better, Northwest.

We moved from another city, and so far, my kids are having a great experience with their teachers and new friends. Will be checking back at the end of the school to do another review.

We love Northwest. For the most part, our experiences with teachers and staff have been positive. One of my favorite things is how small the school is. Our children are known, by name, by most of the staff. They actually care about our kids.
