Veritas Academy has implemented the classical Christian model for educating our two school age children in a very sound manner. We currently have five children; and we are planning on all of our kids graduating their K-12 program.

I have a daughter at veritas. she loves her school its not just because of friends its because of what she sees herself learning its not all easy. school needs to challenge every student but its the teaching methods and Christ centered method that has worked. caring teacher's that give there all, there time there patience that has made my daughter the confident God loving little girl she is i thank God for Veritas Academy if you decide to bring your little one you will to.

As the 2021 school year approached we knew we had to make a change for our kids who have been in the public school system their entire lives. Our research of the classical education model brought us to Veritas Academy. It is a completely different educational experience. They are being taught by teachers who love what they do and desire to develop critical thinking skills (how to think not what to think). They aren’t memorizing facts just to take a test. They are wrestling with the how’s and why’s of philosophy, theology, history, and literature. The bar is set high and math and science with clearly communicated expectations. Even in middle school they can already recognize logical fallacies and deconstruct arguments, skills that are invaluable if they wish to think their way through life rather that just regurgitate what they are told. I no longer have to attempt to dissect their day at school to see what they might have been told that is contrary to the values we wish to instill in them. Veritas is challenging and rigorous with the understanding that students only get one shot at primary and secondary education. This change from public school to Veritas has been an excellent choice for our family.

Veritas Academy does an excellent job at preparing students for college. As the student enters high school, classes become more challenging and require students to think outside the box. After being at Veritas for 12 years, I can say with certainty that I am more than ready for college.

After being at Veritas for almost 12 years now, I have grown immensely in my knowledge of history, literature, and most importantly my faith. Every year I am challenged in my academics to do the best I can. The teachers at Veritas Academy truly do love and care for about their students. They have impacted both my academic and spiritual ways that are truly remarkable and I will forever be grateful for their investment in my life. Also, a benefit of being at a small school is that I have the opportunity to be a part of a various amount of extracurricular activities. These activities help to grow my relationships with my friends and provide great ways for the Veritas community to be involved. The basketball season is always my favorite as I can both play and watch the other teams with my friends. Veritas is a wonderful school that provides a great Christian education.

Veritas Academy has been a tremendous gift to our family. We are so grateful to have Veritas partner with us as parents in raising up our children to love and serve the Lord. We love the rigorous teaching, joyful and fun learning environment, counter-cultural and tradition affirming approaches and the tight community of Veritas families. As business owners, we have also been impressed by the visionary and courageous leadership that we observe from Veritas' administration and teachers. The generous financial aid has also been a blessing in allowing our family to afford private education. We can't recommend Veritas Academy enough!

We couldn't' be happier with our choice to send our child to Veritas. It has strong academics, a good sports program (and partnership with Warwick for some sports), a blossoming arts program, and teaches strong Christ-based morals and values to create "loving, serving, thinking" students.

Veritas beautifully combines educational excellence with humility. They truly live out their mission of cultivating loving, serving & thinking students. I was an elementary teacher before becoming a mother and therefore have been in various schools and in many classrooms, but it is easy to say that the classrooms at Veritas are filled with the most joyful learning I have ever seen. Veritas has cultivated a love for learning in our son as well as a confidence that he can learn and grow, and we will be forever grateful for the impact that this school is having on our children. Just attend their kindergarten knighting ceremony or tea party, and you'll know that each rich lesson and tradition teaches our children so many things at once.

We love it so very much. Our kids are well loved and challenged to grow academically. I am utterly amazed at what they are learning at such a young age, and while my kids are younger, I am always so impressed by the older kids and their composure and wisdom.

Biblically based, rich in tradition , warm and loving community. I can't imagine another place where I would want my 3 children to spend their days learning. Blessed to be a part of this school.

Veritas Academy in Leola has been an incredible blessing to our children and family. The school welcomes the entire family into their community, and we have been as blessed by our interactions with other parents and teachers as our children have by their peers and classes! I came to PA from NY to surprise my granddaughters for a quick visit. During my visit, I visited them at their school, Veritas Academy who has a welcoming open door policy. When I was in one of my granddaughters classes, I was impressed with the curriculum. A teaching method used to learn events in history is done through singing and hand motions. The children in the class were so well behaved and attentive. Being in the teaching field myself, I quickly realized Veritas Academy is a great school.

We have been homeschooling our girls for the last 6 years and when we knew it was time for them to attend a school, Veritas became the clear leader in our search. From the moment we made contact with Veritas Academy, the school's professional administrators and staff were beyond helpful in detailing the school’s educational program. We were looking for a school that would first reflect the heart of Jesus Christ and a reverence for the word of God. Veritas Academy teaches the method we were looking for in a school, the method of grammar, logic, and rhetoric that will develop our children to be effective thinkers and communicators.

I’ve been involved with Veritas as a parent and on staff for 18 years. We love what and how our five children have learned through the classical approach. The comprehensive study of history from creation to present day is remarkable, and the application of critical thinking skills to every piece of literature read has prepared our students for godly living and thinking in college and beyond. I especially love the activities unique to Veritas, all curriculum related, from Egyptian feasts, Greek Olympics, a Narnian procession to a mystery dinner in Great Gatsby style. These events make learning memorable and enjoyable to our students, as well as allowing them to enjoy creative and beautiful outlets in a stressful world marred by the ugliness of sin and selfishness. God has blessed our family and community through this excellent school.

We have been so happy with our kids going to Veritas. The teachers are outstanding - they begin teaching Latin in second grade! We've been welcomed into a great community and we're grateful to be a part of it.

In the months leading up to our Big School Decision I heard a podcast that addressed the "Great School Debate" and weighed the options facing parents today. The podcast described their experience with a small Christian school as “a warm hug.” As the mom of a six year old introvert with a strong desire to be with his parents all hours of the day, the idea of school being a “warm hug” was intriguing to me.From the moment I first observed the Veritas kindergarteners singing “Holy, Holy, Holy” on my first tour of the school, I knew this was the environment I wanted for my son. The structure, the excellent education, the emphasis on manners, and the solid Biblical worldview had me at hello. Knowing the teachers are not only the emotional version of a warm hug, but a spiritual one, too, helps me to rest a little easier. I can walk down the hall after kindergarten drop-off with confidence knowing my child is seen, cared for, prayed over, and loved. And when he needs it, hugged.

Veritas Academy is a friendly, warm and welcoming school. Three of my children are thriving at Veritas. The teachers are especially knowledgeable and skilled, and beyond that, they care deeply for my children and help them work through life with Christ as their Helper. I love the quality education my kids are receiving in every subject, including broad History and Science in addition to the "3 Rs." Adding Bible, Latin, Music, and Art, Veritas does a great job as a Classical Christian school.

This school is absolutely wonderful. Rigorous and yet the kids have so much fun. The best school in Lancaster county.
