My second child is now attending his first year at LCPS and is quite a happy little kindergartner who loves his school!

Lee County Primary School is the best thing about Lee County, all students are genuinely loved! There is a full-time counselor and school nurse on staff and students participate in PE, Art and Music class every week. Children with peanut allergies are respectively accommodated and taken care of but not at the expense of the children without peanut allergies. LCPS also has a loving exemplary special needs program! We love Lee County Primary School!

We loved this school. So warm and welcoming. The teachers love their students. This is the better choice than the other primary school bc of the teachers !

If your child is not a perfect angel or a favorite, they will be marked for nearly anything such as talking with or having a staring contest with the child sitting across from them at lunch. If your child gets marked as little as 3 times in 3 different weeks during a card marking period, they will not be allowed to participate in the good behavior parties/events. Don't worry, they won't be kept inside to do busywork... they will be required to stand along the fence with the other bad kids to watch the good kids have fun. That's right, while the good kids are rewarded with bubble parties, egg hunts and ice cream from the ice cream truck, the miscreants are forced to stand on the side and watch the other kids have fun! So, if you are into letting your child experience cruel and unusual disciplinary treatment... LCPS is the school for you!! Oh and if one of the favorite students is successful in bullying your child under the teacher's radar, expect nothing to be done about it. Afterall, your child isn't perfect, so why should anyone believe what they say?

Kindergarten was amazing. 1st grade teacher was clueless about so many things (SHE WAS WAY TOO PC) and 2nd grade, well I explained that already. We were a military family, not southerners. I think people from this region can sense when you are here because you have to be, not because you want to be. I am from up north (a yankee) and despite my kindness and attempts to get involved, I have never felt wanted or welcome here. I used to be optimistic but after trying for so long and getting no where, I have just come to accept the fact that if you are not from here and don't know everybody, then like you, your child passing right on through...

The school is great. Nice diversity. Friendly and compassionate staff. They make every effort to ensure your child gets class work that challenges them. I absolutely love Mrs. Eubanks who is only a small piece that makes the school great.

I moved from a schools district that was a 9 on the great schools rating but I immediately recognized the poor management at this school. Teachers show movies in class almost weekly; I do not need a teacher with a masters degree to show TV. They stopped instructing two weeks before the end of the school year; that is just lazy. They reward with candy and coke in class; if you are not the lunch lady you should not be feeding my child. If you need to pick up your kid early, they require a fax; one percent of household have a fax machine but almost all have e-mail. A fax can be anonymous by if you require a per-registered e-mail, you know where it comes from. Mothers with young children cannot attend school events with their children; so much for parent involvement and family friendly environment. The management at this school is nothing more than amateur and I would expect more from highly educated professionals. It makes me long for the good schools that I had my children in. It is amazing what and address will trap you into.
