I have been going to this school for a while now, and I love it. I most definitely recommend it to anyone. I'm also a big Christian and have been powerful in my faith at FA Leesburg. I am proud to be an Eagle.

Yes, there are favorites to some children who show exemplary behavior in a classroom of problem students. There are daily complaints about problem students, and micro-managing by the Principal and other chief staff among teachers conversing in hallways between classes and during planning periods. Some teachers could care less about the students and are just trying to get through the day and don't bother to hide the fact. Discipline is a BIG problem especially in 5-8 grades. Teachers hands are tied as to how they are allowed to try and control classrooms, and many just allow them to pretty much do what they want. Children are tested mainly through open-book, students copy each others work, with teachers approval. Children do work in workbooks, then the subject is discussed, and the studenst are allowed to correct wrong answers, in order to acheive a better grade. Over half the students in 5-7th grades cannot tell time on an analog clock, nor can they write in cursive. There is pressure on teachers for students to achieve good grades. I would like to focus more on learning, than grades. There is bullying, and the bullies are "talked to" and little else, but the child bullied is the one seen as having the problem and usually issued counseling to help them fit in better. But the bullys are not given counseling on how to not be a bully to others. The school grounds are less secure than public school grounds with the church also administering to vagrants, and other people with problems with no secure separation from possible interaction in childrens areas. Though, the custodial staff do a good job of monitoring the children as they travel from building to building to access different classes. Most of the children do display respect to the adult staff. The school is in terrible condition. Roaches are a frequent classroom distraction, Many water fountains are broken, there are stains dripping from the ceiling into some of the bathrooms. Bathrooms are very limited in capacity and there are only a few short minutes between classes. There is no cafeteria. Everyone eats outside except for inclimate weather. I am currently seeking another teaching position. To summarize, though it has many faults, all schools do, I would recommend this school over public school, but feel you might be better off home schooling, or choosing another private school

Very good experience and improving where change is needed. The school needs funding for a sports complex.

This school provides mediocre education, character development is not encouraged, and poor display of rule enforcement as well as the display of non-Christian like attitudes from multiple staff and administration. Favoritism is a large problem at this school and is tolerated by the principle and administration. All of the comments on here are from the favorite kids’ parents or from the faculty, watch out for false, promotive reviews.

I graduated after attending all four years of high school and felt cheated out of a proper education. This is not a college prepatory school as they advertise:- Teachers are too involved in students' lives to present a proper education.- Religion was incorporated in every subject, including completely inappriopriate ones such as Math.- Teachers and Faculty often favor students to a degree I hadn't seen before. Students who aren't especially liked by those teaching are left behind and given almost no help or attention.- Many students are extremely clique-like and many of the faculty only perpetuates such activities. - Very few teachers ensure that students are on track with their class.- The school pays more attention to its religioous aspects rather than building a fence or cafeteria.- Many homeless people can walk onto campus (and have) without any issue.- The students eat outdoors mostly or are crammed inside classrooms during unfavorable weather.

My daughter has been attending since kindergarten. She is in 7th grade now. The school is very good. My daughter has thrived there. Coach Walker is the best along with the principal and his wife-very fine Christian people. It is small and can be cliquish. There is favoritism but it still is a good school overall.
