    NeSmith has some amazing teachers! What I love the most is how they make school fun. The classrooms are decorated in ways I had never seen teachers decorate, they encourage indoor/outdoor learning, and over all the small town feel is still there. They are building several new schools in Community ISD so the population growth is fast right now but will be fixed next year. Its a great school!

    Haven't really liked it. My daughter has went from and A/B honor roll to neither she according to teachers barely made it. How did she have such a short change in 4 months . Teachers lacked communication and were stand offish and said some things I couldn't believe would ever be said to a student. My daughter cried to go back to her old school. Try to get involved but always got a run around in volunteering. PTO is not universal if you don't know someone you won't get voted in which means new ideas from fresh people are out of the question. My sisters a teacher and I know 3 teachers personally and they all raise their eyebrows when I go over issues i had. I wish we could sale our house and move because I believe new people don't have open arms here and by the time you get it your kids may be out of school.

    My child has had a great experience at this school. We moved here from Plano ISD and we love the sence of Community you feel here.
