We moved to Lauren’s in 2021 and our daughter started her first year of school in 2022. She was doing virtual schooling in another district when we moved. When she started 2nd grade at Lauren’s Elementary I believe I was a nervous wreck more than she was but several teachers and the principal at the time Dr.LittleJohn made her feel so welcomed! You would’ve never known she was the “new new kid”. She had teachers loving on her and making her feel welcomed that wasn’t even her teachers! All of her related art teachers were and still are amazing! Ever since 2nd grade we’ve been blessed with even more amazing teachers! We parents immediately judge a school based off their “ratings” when most of the ratings come from parents that aren’t FULLY involved in their child/children’s schooling. Which personally I find HIGHLY unfair towards the school, the district and the staff! You can’t rate someone or something that you’re not apart of or involved in! Some of these bad ratings are done by parents out of anger because someone upset them and to me it’s 100% unfair! Lauren’s Elementary School is an amazing school with an amazing staff and we have absolutely NO regrets what so ever sending our daughter there nor having our toddler on their wait list to attend as well! As the saying goes “Don’t judge a book by its cover”!

Laurens Elementary is a great school and I have an autistic son and the teachers are wonderful for helping him learn and he loves going to school.
