I worked at this school for a few years. While working there, I worked with some great teachers and the admin my first 2 years were wonderful. Unfortunately, the current principal, Ms. Meyers is one of the reasons I left. She is not supportive of her teachers when they need assistance and support when dealing with challenging and disrespectful parents. It is no surprise to me that they will now be a turn around school.

My children have had mixed experiences with teachers supporting them as well as singling them out and criticizing them. The office staff is often unprofessional, unresponsive, and unaware of what is going on in the school. During most office visits, pertaining to unresolved issues, we are met with combative and dismissive language. It is very difficult to get any follow up from administration. There is little to no accountability from staff at this school. It makes it very hard to trust that they will be taking care of the children and watching out for their safety.

I am a teacher and parent at this school. I am a 20 year veteran and chose to come here. I love the community and the passionate teachers.

This school is simply amazing. I love the teachers and the over all environment starting from the staff to the children themselves. In all honesty I'm sad to see this school being turned into a turn around school. They already lost the best principal and will be losing some of the best teachers because of it.
