It is a very safe environment. My daughter had excelled academically and socially at Milton. She came from a different school where she didn't want to go to school.. At Milton she made friends and is excited to go to school everyday. The staff is friendly and I have yet to see any kid act out or bully anyone. So far it has been a great experience and look forward to another school year at Milton.PS. This is not the west side to say that kids act out or bully anyone. And my daughter does not come from a broken home.

I wanted to reply to the comment on most of the kids coming from a broken or troubled down home. My daughter is none of the above and neither are her class mastes. The area it represents?? It's centrally located! Ryan is in the heights area and it came out #3, and thats truly sad.

It's above average for the area it represents. Many of the children that attend come from broken or troubled homes and regularly physically act out, so it may not be the safest environment for your child. To make matters worse, parents of these pint-sized bullies have little involvement. With that said, the principal and teachers work admirably and tirelessly to keep the school up to par! Without administrative and staff efforts, this school could easily go down-hill.
