Lansing Christian School creates an environment where the whole student is nurtured: emotionally, relationally, physically, mentally and spiritually. The teaching staff is invested and truly cares for our children and want to see them grow and succeed. The community is amazing and the inclusion and engagement of the whole family is prioritized.

Cannot say enough good things about this school! Keep up the great work, LCS! Ultimately, it's glorifying God through education. LCS has kept this focus and is reflected in every area from admin to teaching to sports to extra-curricular activities to bible. Advise to pray to God and see if this is the path for your children. It's unrealistic to believe ANY institution is "100%", but as long as Christ is in the center, it's only by his grace and direction can any institution be successful.

We toured 5 preschool options in the area and were excited to find both a Christ-centered education and warm, welcoming community at LCS. Fast-forward 10 years, we are grateful to continue being part of a school that is mindful in curriculum and fostering our children as individuals who are each a special part in God’s story!

I really cannot say enough good things about this school. Every single teacher we’ve had so far has been outstanding and it’s evident how much they care. The class sizes are smaller and more attention can be given to each individual student. They incorporate Christian practices and morals into all areas of learning and they are all around growing academically and spiritually. It’s such a comforting feeling knowing that are surrounded by Christ followers at school! We’ve developed some amazing friendships here.

Our child has been encouraged at LCS to examine her faith and to think critically. We see her faith becoming her own, not just her parents' faith. Her knowledge of the Bible is increasing and she's applying Christian principles in her daily life. Living and learning in a Christian community, where loving God and loving people is encouraged, has set up our child for success at school and in life. It's a positive, caring Christian environment where character is as important as excellence in academics. LCS is a school that is always striving to be the best school possible, in every way.

"LCS is different from any other school that I have visited. Everyone who comes here comments about how they can feel the calming effect of God's presence and peace just by walking into the building. That is what I wanted for my children; calmness, peace, and the presence of our loving Lord. I feel a true partnership with the teachers at LCS and know that my children are learning from the finest educators around. The Christ-based education paired with educators who truly love my children is the greatest blessing for our family."

Our oldest child is going into middle school and both our kids have loved every teacher in the elementary. As parents, we love the community atmosphere and the trust we have in the leadership of the school.

In the culture that we live in, society is working hard at unraveling any Judeo/Christian beliefs and values in the educational system. I work hard at discipling my sons and desire for their education to be supplementary and consistent with Biblical teaching, not contrary to it. I also believe friendships united in Christ is equally as important as a quality education. It is my hope and prayer that my sons will form life-long friendships that will be mutually encouraging and strengthening throughout their lives as they seek to love Jesus with all of their hearts, souls, minds, and strength.

We have three children (ages 8, 5, and 3) that currently attend Lansing Christian and another (age 1) that will get there eventually! Not a day goes by that we are not grateful and thankful that we made the decision to send our children to LCS! The values, the community......the care children are given on a daily basis. The foundation on which they will learn and grow for the rest of their lives. Thank goodness for Lansing Christian Schools!!

We both felt very strongly that our son would thrive in a God-focused environment, with teachers and staff that held similar values and beliefs about what matters most in life. This was a priceless opportunity for his education to mirror the teachings he is receiving at home and at church. Every person we have come in contact with has been so friendly and loving, and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision to start our son on this path at LCS!

I had a wonderful experience at LCS and found the teachers to be the best part of the school. Each staff member and teacher truly cares about each student.

We are new to LCS and we love it! We were drawn to the school because of their obvious faith base, amazing administration/staff, and the many opportunities for our children......spiritually, socially and academically!

We are so thrilled with the difference that LCS has made in the lives of our entire family. The atmosphere of caring within the faculty and the student body is absolutely amazing. My 10th grader transferred from public school at the beginning of this school year, and we have noticed an immediate improvement in his grades and his demeanor. When we asked him what the difference was, he told us that the teachers really care about him and WANT him to learn and that his fellow STUDENTS help him with his school work!! The fact that the teachers pray before each exam has helped him overcome the anxiety he used to have about testing. Instead of getting Ds and Es on exams, he is getting As and Bs, and the material is no less challenging than it was in his previous school. Time is built into the school week to make appointments with teachers for review or clarification, so he can concentrate on mastering the concepts at home instead of unraveling the mystery of what had been taught. My only regret is that we waited so long to make this move.

We really love Lansing Christian! Our oldest daughter just graduated after 13 years at LCS and she has come back to thank her teachers for how well prepared she was for college. Our other 2 children are enjoying their high school years there and are so grateful for the positive atmosphere and excellent academics! Their is consistency and reinforcement for students as teachers partner with parents. We are grateful for the christian values and like-mindness. Their is great support and encouragement to do your best whether it is in academics or athletics, student senate or science olympia. There is so much to choose from. Please come and see for yourself!

We love this school! Our kids have gone since kindergarten. The teachers have been WONDERFUL. They are excellent at their jobs and they truly care about each of their students. We love how they integrate a Biblical worldview into every subject. The kids participate in chapel leadership and serve in the community through the school as well. Perfect size classes as well and parents are quite involved. The principals and school board are always willing to listen to any concerns as well.

I absolutely love my school. I have attended Lansing Christian School since Pre-School, and I definitely think that I am prepared for college. Over the course of high school, I have taken 4 years of language classes, 2 AP science classes, AP US History, and AP Calculus. The teachers are incredible and genuinely care about the well-being of the students. I am very close with almost everyone in my class and have made many lifelong friends.

I have attended Lansing Christian since kindergarten and feel so bitter-sweet about my graduation this year (2014). I love my school and feel very ready for college and life, spiritually, intellectually, and socially. My school provides many AP class options, has an excellent choir program, and great athletics. Most teachers bond excellently with students. However, just because it's a Christian school does not mean bullies are not present and, unfortunately, there is favoritism from the disciplinary authorities towards more wealthy families, especially towards the Granger family. This should not discourage you from sending your child(ren) to Lansing Christian. The students are great. All of them. Small class sizes make learning easy and fun. I knew almost every high school student every year of my high school career and had friends in every grade almost every year. I graduated with a class of around 50 students, which is about average. Lansing Christian is pricey, but it's also worth every cent.

My family is so thankful for Lansing Christian School. It is clear the teachers and administrators genuinely care about the students, not just academically, but spiritually as well. I love that my daughter is getting a wonderful education, building her character, and growing in her relationship with Jesus.
