We have been involved with Lansing Catholic High School for fifteen years; all of our children graduated from Lansing Catholic, and during our earlier experiences with the school we were satisfied with the education and the support of the teachers to our eldest son. As we went on we began to see that the teachers formed cliques ignoring and isolating new teachers, were highly selective in their teaching-seeing female students as less likely to succeed as well as male students, and if a student had learning difficulties or emotional issues beware that teachers would sabotage therapeutic efforts that parents set up because a teacher believed they knew best. The Counseling department is staffed by counselors that are either naive or disinterested. There is a heartbreaking is the practice of staff gossiping about students to outsiders; and in staff meetings difficult students are put down and belittled

Lansing Catholic is by far the best high school in the mid michigan area. Though the tuition is expensive, the education is of superior quality and is well worth it. As a former student currently in University, many of the classes that I took at Lansing Catholic were of higher quality and standard than my college courses. The curriculum is very tough, but the difficulty of classes definitely prepares students for college. Discipline is excellent at this school, however bullying is a problem. The student body is very cliquish and frankly quite cold to new-comers. I saw students come and go as a result of bullying. Students and faculty are rather stuck up and arrogant as well. These problems seem to go unaddressed by the principle. Other than that, the education is excellent and with the small size of the school you really feel like a family. Overall, I highly recommend Lansing Catholic.

Best school in the Lansing area! Amazing administration, awesome families and truly a community! If you are looking for THE best school in the area, THIS is it! Check out our standardized test scores, our sports programs, etc. My statements above are not just opinion, but proven fact!
