I have experienced nothing but challenges with this school with both of my children. The staff is so focused on rules and discipline that they become the very hurdle these children can't overcome in order to effectively learn or to be excited about learning. I pulled one of my children out and am hoping my second child can just make it through eighth grade and get away from this environment. While they claim to care most about their students' education and well-being, none of this is practiced in their everyday work. They do not respect children as humans and individuals, but rather expect them to just obey and stay quiet. I experienced this myself when I attended this school as a child and I hoped things would have improved by now but sadly it appears they have not. The fact that many staff have quit since last year (there are multiple signs outside of the school, hiring for various positions), is obvious to me that the way things are being run isn't even suitable for the staff let alone the students. I hope they get themselves together and remember what they're really there to do, which is to support these children in their education and in becoming more of who they are, rather than trying to mold them all into little, silent, obedient soldiers. No one can learn in that type of environment. The only thing they're learning is that they don't matter. It's shameful. I hope high school is better or I will be pulling my second child out as well. I had a much better experience at our local charter school. Don't be fooled by their statistics and false claims of virtue.

I just love Ms Cotich...at Reception. She always finds the answers to my inquiries and she does not waste my time. I am a true believer in efficient workers and she is such a great example for parents, teachers and most importantly our "future" work-force; the students! She deals with 50 things at once and always knows the correct course of action and the most effective way to get there!

As muCh as I'd like to say this school was a great time in my life it wasn't. Some of the staff were always helpful and willing to help with anything. When it really mattered the people in charge that should've been following suit, didn't. Difference isn't accepted amongst students in this school. With that said the teachers really didn't seem to intervene should a student needed a person to control the situation. Some situations were completely out of hand and out of control. This does happen in all schools, I know, but not that often. Kids and teachers go to school for education, whether learning or teaching the focus should be on those two subjects.

I am a former student of Manor Middle School, and I loved my experience at Manor Middle. What a great place to grow and learn as a teen. The teachers were phenomenal! The principals were always so involved with us students. The classes were able challenge each student, because students are put in classes where they were able to learn and succeed. Not only are the teachers such nice people, but they find ways to make class so much fun. As you know there will be students you get along with and students you don't get along with, but the teachers are always aware of what goes on whether they share that with the student or not. overall, what an awesome school!

Manor Middle School is an excellent school for students to learn and grow. Teachers go out of there way to help every child in school and out.
