I started my granddaughter in 4k at Lamar Elementary. My granddaughter is now about to start 2nd grade .. I've loved every teacher. Each and every one has worked with her and has helped her to succeed. The principal who greets every kid in the morning come rain are shine and is a very caring and understanding man. I hate to see her out grow this school. Thanks to all the staff teachers and principal job well done in my BOOK.

I had to place my child in this school due to quick move and it has been the biggest mistake in my life. My child who came from a Blue Ribbon school, making A s and B s, came to Lamar Elementary, which is rated number 4 out of 10 stars and my child grade dropped to C s and D s. Throughout the year my child teachers would tell me how great and how smart my child was but when my baby report card came out it showed something different. When I started questing my child grades that is when the teachers started telling me my child never turned in homework and how my child would sit in class and do nothing. All of this information was told to me with less than a month in school. The school district really needs to take a closer look at those teachers and the principle at this school, because these children don t stand a chance.
