My children and now my grandchildren attend Danbury schools. A very caring environment. Excellent staff and principal.

I would agree with the previous reviews that state that too much emphasis is placed on numbers, and not on the child's needs.... all his/her needs... academic, social, and emotional. If you have a child who has or may possibly have a special need, I would not even consider this school. The staff could use a lot of improvement in understanding the individual needs of children with disabilities, and not simply looking at how stats look on paper. They could also improve greatly in treating parents like partners, not outsiders.

I think the teachers have too much power and do not really care about the kids, Just the next raise and how much money they can make. Look at the pay scale for teachers, wow!!! Been this way for years and I thought it would change with the new principal. I guess not. Stay away from this school.
