My school is great because of the wonderful Christ-centered atmosphere it offers. My kids are excelling academically and love their learning environment. I love that while my kids are getting a great education, they in a family setting where they know they are cared about. That means everything to me as a parent.

Wonderful teachers and administration. Couldn't ask for a better place to send my kids to school.

My son recently switched to Immanuel from the local public school. While he did very well academically and had lot of friends and got along well with the staff and students, he hated going to school When we decided to give Immanuel a try, he almost immediately went from hating school to liking school at Immanuel! I am impressed with the curriculum and I can compare what he was doing in the public school and can say it is not only rigorous at Immanuel but applicable to what I feel he should be learning. I like that Immanuel still address curriculum like handwriting and they have opportunity for CREATIVITY in projects such as art and writing which was waning in his previous school. The teacher to student ratio is wonderful and allows teachers to interact with the students rather than aids and paras doing the majority of the supervision. The curriculum, staff and administration are all top notch and I appreciate the communication between school and home. In addition, he is getting a religious layer to his education. We are so pleased to see our son enjoying school again and am impressed the academics he is learning as well. I would encourage anyone to give Immanuel a try.

We love our school! Immanuel Lutheran School is staffed by well educated teachers that truly care about their students. The student to teacher ratios are wonderful, in our case, our kids have always been in classrooms with <15 students. I feel this gives the teacher insight not only to our children's growth academically but also their spiritual, emotional, and physical health. The communication between school and home is constant and very natural. Immanuel is like a big family and you don't have to belong to the Immanuel Lutheran Church to part of the "Immanuel Family". The academics were carefully hand picked by the staff and are the best of the best. Shirley English, Saxon Math and Spell to Write and Read have all been very positive experiences for our family. Our oldest loves Shirley English and our 8 year old has beautiful cursive handwriting and loves every class but reading is her favorite. As a mom, I love the biblical education, the challenging academics, and the prayer times during the school day. Kids are able to request prayers for anything concerning them and the whole class will pray together. All in all, I have kids who want to go to school in the morning.

As the new principal at Immanuel, I am continually impressed by the dedicated teachers and staff, the rigorous curriculum, the use of technology, the awesome families, and the willingness to grow and change to stay current. At Immanuel, we look at the whole child to challenge them to do their best and achieve great success. By the time they graduate from 8th grade they are well prepared for high school. It is proven that private and parochial school students can handle challenges, make good decisions, and qualify for AP or Honors classes.
