My daughter attends this school and we’ve had a lovely experience. The teachers care deeply about the students and the principal is amazing. I love that as a parent I’m able to be completely involved in my daughter’s education and it feels like a collaborative effort in the class. If this was a private school, I’d pay for my daughter to go here.

My son has been a student here since kindergarten. He is now in 5th grade. I have always been so impressed with the lengths this school goes to help kids succeed. He has a learning disability and has had frequent trips to the office because of this, and the nurse, office staff, and principal have been so kind and understanding to him and me over the years. It has been a delight having my son at this school. Make it a great day!

The ladies in the office are extremely rude and unprofessional, they seem annoyed to see you or answer the phone, and are super rude to the kids.

I had a great experience at this school. this school was great. Teachers care about their students and respect each child as an individual.

Honestly I think this is one of the best elementary schools I have dealt with yet the teachers are proactive and caring, they listen to the children and their needs, and I build a curriculum based on each individual child

I dread dealing with the ladies in the office. They are rude and disrespectful for no reason. They give you bad looks and talk down to you. My child has also dealt with being bullied on multiple occasions. She has had her winter coat torn by a student then a few months later kicked in the stomach by the same student and had rocks thrown at her. I had to go the next day to replace her ripped coat that wasn't cheap. Then I find out the same student bullying her was put right next to her in class after all this. I'm not sure where the recess teachers are when these things are happening. My daughter is in fourth grade and received more homework in first grade then fourth. I do not feel like she is being challenged academically at all.She worked very hard to not miss a day of school so far this year to win a perfect attendance award. When I called to see when they were doing awards I was rudely informed even though she hadn't missed one single day this year she was a few minutes late a couple times therefore her attendance was far from perfect. I brought cupcakes and a birthday balloon for her birthday after setting it up with the teacher. When I came into the office to get a visitor pass the ladies immediately started freaking out about the balloon and saying there might be kids that have allergies and it couldn't be in the school. My daughter then told me later every other parent that came on birthdays brought balloons. I've sent her with a birthday balloon every year since kindergarten and have never had anyone say that or act like I was doing something wrong.

This school claims to be doing so much for anti-bullying but in reality they protect the bully. Instead of removing the bully they remove the child (from recess or class) who is being bullied. There is so much violence in this school and there is no consequence. Principal and counselors do not feel the need to follow district policy by suspending the hitter. My children were not safe in this school and I had to remove them to keep them from being hurt further.

Students are not important or protected in this school. PTA does not keep their promises to the kids.

My child was hurt in the class but not belied by the principle. Principle gave false report to the police about the situation. Great teachers!! Especially music teacher and program. Best music program ever!!
