This school fails in regards to diversity, for the school has a student body that is mostly Hispanic. I am not sure what happened to the other demographics, but they have seemed to move onto to other choices in education. Nevertheless, my nephew went to kindergarten here. The teacher was fine at educating, and he progressed well in his studies, but he was one of only a couple non-Hispanic kids, and the parents were downright hostile because he is white. He invited all of the kids to his birthday party (despite never being invited to any of theirs), and was told outright from the other kids that their moms wouldn't let them go to the party. So, here we have a heartbroken 5 year old who has been told that the other kids aren't allowed to be his friend. It's a horrible situation and the school is aware of it, but won't do anything for fear of offending the Hispanic families. As I mentioned, the teacher (Mrs. Gray) was great and did her best despite the student body and administrative support. The only saving grace is that my nephew and his family will be moved into their new home and he will be attending a new school that has a higher score and a more diverse student body. Therefore, from what I witnessed and was told by my nephew, brother and sister-in-law, if your child is not Hispanic, prepare them to be the outcast socially. Hence, I can't recommend this school at this time!

I had 5 children go through this school. My sixth is now in kindergarten and overall it has been a good experience. Mrs. Gray is wonderful and so patient with my son. He has a very short attention span but I have seen a lot of improvement in his behavior since starting kindergarten. The new principal, Mrs Neuer seems very nice. I've only dealr with her briefly a few tumes but she's always smiling and looking busy. I've had a couple of issues with a teacher and some kids being mean but I think the school is run well and my kids learned a lot and had fun. They were involved in plays and performances that were awesome. I would recommend this school.

The kindergarten program was great for my oldest. I have my second child going in and she is super excited.

This school was the only one left that had room in their transitional kindergarten class and I have to say...I was extremely concerned because of the ratings but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. My son loves going to school here and the staff and teachers that I've become acquainted with are extremely supportive and care a lot about the kids. My son's teacher, Ms. Kim is really amazing and the new principal (Mr. C.) they have is awesome as well.

I would not recommend this school to anyone. If this school spent as much time trying to effectively teach as it does trying to convince parents that their child has some sort of a learning disability maybe it would be a place to take your child. My child spent 3 hours a day for 2 months with a private tutor, and learned more in those 2 moths then he did all year in this school. A total failure of leadership and accountability from top to bottom.
