We have been so lucky to have the most wonderful teachers and staff in our time so far at LAE. I do wish there were more social activities for families, because the ones we have are great! Things feel as if they are getting better every year, and we are happy to be a part of the community here!

We have been at LAE for 3 years now and love it. Like at any school, a parent has to be involved and talk to others parents in the school to find out which teachers are right for your specific child! My son has ADHD and his 1st grade teacher was so great with him with naturally accommodating him in his everyday struggles, that we didn’t even have to apply for an IEP. PTA does a great job to make fun activities throughout the year for our kids. Sad to see they get such a low rating. I think the school is great!

We liked his friends a lot. We found the administrators and teachers to be pleasant, but there is almost zero communication on what specific assignments are, when they are due, and what they entail. We were only given an area that they would be studying in a monthly calendar. No test dates, no page assignments, and no contact in regards to important matters other than, "I will look into that." Once that sentence is typed, repeatedly, there is zero follow up. Also, new students to the school that come in during later grades are expected to automatically know the systems. Onboarding should be done to help everyone adjust.

My 7 year old is in 2nd grade, we have had a wonderful experience at LAE and we've been blessed with incredible teachers. My daughter has blossomed and learned so much in her time at this school, I'm not sure why the rating dropped to a 4 as we have been thrilled with LAE!

Incredible school with warm welcoming feeling. The teachers inspire such an awesome love of learning in all their students. My child has made tremendous educational growth with great teachers and principal always looking to the future

The staff at LAE are wonderful! The campus is clean and safe for every student. The teachers are dedicated to students learning in academic areas as well as instilling good character. This is an amazing mountain school!

I love our school. I have had 3 children already pass through the halls of LAE, I have a kindergartner there now & a 4 year old who will attend in 2 years. I have had nothing but good experiences with the teachers & staff. Wonderful teachers & principal.
