Send your child to this school if you would like them to be terrorized and bullied by the students and teachers. Since the entirety of my oldest son attendance here he has been bullied and the teachers ignore. It has gotten so bad that I have to started teaching him self defense. The problem with that is my son has a kind soul and will not hit anyone even if they hit him. Just to name 2 incidents a student hit my son in the face because he wanted to break in line; another incident occurred in his homeroom where the same student stabbed him in the hand with a pencil. The teacher didn't even notify me, I had to hear this from my son. When I asked the teacher why the lack of communication involving bullying and my son getting injured she said it slipped her mind. WOW! So send my son home with a hole in his hand. I can count on 1 hand how many teachers are actually great. I can name them too. I am so exciting the school year is over because my children will not be returning to this school. My children and my experience at this school has highly made me consider home schooling. By far the worst school in Troup County.

No questions here. Great school. Love the speech program and all the teachers. My daughter is in K and will attend to 5th grade. And my son will be starting preK there soon

FFE makes a great first impression but does not follow through. Parental involvement is discouraged, and in fact no parents are allowed on field trips at all, even to meet them. They also have a huge issue with bullying that is not handled appropriately or ethically. It seems they just want to sweep it under the rug. I also feel the kids are not supervised properly in the halls, bathrooms or at recess and that leads to these situations. The teachers do not even sit with their classes at lunch and frequently leave the classrooms unsupervised. The PTO is a joke and unsupported. Our kids attended less than a year and we ended up withdrawing and homeschooling them. Something I never thought I would do, but the kids are 100% happier and so are we. Our experience here was a huge dissappointment.

This school is run like a prison. They want you to drop your child off at 7:30 and not come back until 2:30. They do not feel they are helping you educate your child, they feel they are in charge of their education and would prefer no input from parents. They also feel they have the power to keep you away from your child's class and from their teachers. If you want to be involved in your child's school life this is not the school for you. Also if you would like to know what is happening at the school or get in depth communication from the teachers and administration this is not the school for you. If your child's situation is even a little outside the box, don't expect them to bend even a little to help. Go private school or HillCrest if you are in Lagrange.

My son has been in Franklin Forest for 4 years and we love it. When he was bullied last year, I called the teacher and she took care of the problem. Every one of his teachers have helped him with his grades. Before he came to Franklin Forest we homeschooled him, and everyone there has just been wonderful. He has been in some trouble at times and even then his teachers, counsellor and principle have all been very helpful and supportive. This is his last year there and I am truly going to miss this school!!
