Wallace Elementary of Integrated Arts is the best elementary school in Kokomo and Howard County in my opinion. We are a music/arts family and I cannot imagine sending my children to any other school in the district. The teachers and staff go above and beyond with supporting the children, including being involved with after-school activities whether it's a sporting competition, a music recital, a dance recital or other activity. Family involvement is also above average. If there is recital, a gathering for events like Trunk or Treat, Wake up with Wallace, Grandparents Day, or other gathering, you will see parents along with extended family members in attendance. This school is amazing and I encourage anyone with elementary-aged children to definitely put Wallace Elementary on your list of schools to check out.

This is bar none THE BEST SCHOOL in Kokomo. Mr. Hinkle, the principal, knows each child by name and tries his best to connect with each one on a regular basis. The teachers are young and enthusiastic. The integrate arts curriculum enriches the learning experience. My daughter has some issues with reading and writing, and every staff member we have come in contact with has just bent over backwards to help her succeed. The building is very nice and in a safe area. They are adding onto it and soon it will be the most beautiful school in all of Indiana.
