    West Elementary has made great improvements over the last several years with a change in leadership. We have had excellent teachers. I would have rated it 5 stars, but there are a few areas of improvement. First, the building is very math and reading focused and as a parent I rarely see anything come home about science or social studies. Second, I think the enrichment for students like my daughter who excel at math and reading is lacking.
