this school is TERRIBLE there's hair in the food and the food is disgusting if ur kid go here your kid will want to leave, there's so much drama and its not good girls will tell ur kid to go kts and i dont think you want that for your kid this school teach kids nothing and there is a lot of gossipers if your kids like fights then they should go there if you don't want your kids to go to this school because of fights then keep them safe and don't let them come here.

Last year I left and im now in high school, and I can say that this is the worse middle school ever. But one note is that you can find people you can be friends with who are good people and there is a few teachers who Deserve credit for putting up with these bad misbehaved students (the teachers are, Mr.Gutierrez, Mr.rychert, Ms.ruiz, Ms.mercado, and some who left or quit, ms,ceaser, and ms.vangas). To start off about this school is every single student. Ever student in that school has a problem with everyone no matter what it is it can be the smallest detail about you and there's always going to be a toxic comment about something or about you. It can be either where you're from, you interest such as music like you can't like K-pop without people saying you weird or make fun of your music taste, your clothes, your hair, your smell, the phone you have, your backpack, shoes, or anything. There's always dumb conflict between everyone and about relationships when your just in middle school and kids fight over a boyfriend or girlfriend and that relationship last for a week and students will have physical fights about it. The behavior of the students is beyond disrespectful everyone saying or doing mean things to each other, to the nicest teachers, and to the disabled kids or special needs kids. And the school does nothing about it and always sides with the bad students instead of the victims and always say they can't do anything about it or lie to you saying they'll take care of it or just do nothing at all. Once I wrote a statement about a student who hit me, and I never got a word back about it. This school in my last year here even had to get a whole new staff (principal and deans) because the last few days of the year before people from the district had to come and watch students in hallways. Also, because those old staff did nothing for the students. Some teachers also just don't care about you, once a teacher called me lazy even when I always did the work but didn't do well because some of these teachers can't teach and don't know how. Also the staff never do anything about the students doing drugs and vaping in the bathrooms. When you walk into a bathroom sometimes you can sometimes hear students coughing in the stall or showing of their vape to other students. Once in 8th grade a girl I talked to was next to me vaping in the middle of the class and would come high to class on the last days of school. Just dont send your kid here its a toxic environment.

This is my second year here, and I hate this school even more. There are only a few good teachers here. (Shoutout to Mr. Ramos, Ms. Toussaint, Ms. McFadden, And Mr. Kim etc.) Other than making a few great friends, this isn't the school that you would send your kids. When it comes to actually caring about the student's well-being and education, they DO NOT, and I repeat, DO. NOT. CARE!!! They act like they do but they don't. Test scores from last year were BAD. They serve decent but disgusting food, and the students are disrespectful to one another. Don't send your kids here, please! This school is so bad, teachers from last year started to quit. Now they do not teach. Currently, there has already been 2 fights that happen. And school started like a month ago! This school is literally nick-named "The Fight Club". Literally everyone is getting in trouble and getting written up...FOR FIGHTING!!! There isn't anything family-friendly about this school. Thank goodness that I got 1 year left here. From the first day, I was ready to leave. Dismissal? Even crazier. Yesterday, a 6th grader got in trouble for pushing a disabled kid to the ground "as a joke". So please, any school, is much better for your child. I do not want them to suffer the way that other kids at this school have.

I went to Denn john my whole middle school years, and I can tell you right now this school sucks. The kids are so rude, disrespectful, and outrageous. They will laugh at your shoes, if you have an android your "poor", they form "gangs", if you don't act tough you "suck", the kids are racist, and the deans will do anything to get you in trouble. Once I got a referral for being in the bathroom when girls were going to fight. Like sorry I had to use the bathroom when I had no clue these girls were going to fight. The teachers give you work sheets and don't even teach you. I had a teacher like this and all she did was sit at her desk eat and play solitaire on her computer. (everybody had an F in her class). Kids will literally pick on you for no reason and make fun of you. when you tell the deans you're getting picked on your a "snitch" and "there's nothing they can do". Please if you care and love your kid and don't want them to get bullied don't send them here.

I went to DJMS for all of middle school (unfortunately). Aside from the friends I made and a handful of actually good teachers (Shout out to Mrs. Caesar and Ms. Vo!) (neither teach there anymore though), this school is horrible. The staff does not care about the students. The students don't care about the school or their grades or each other. There was a shooting threat every single year I went and a fight at least once a week (they literally call the school fight club). I know they recently renovated it so it's possible that it might be getting better but if you have a choice please do not send your child here.

Such a bad school. my last year there and they said I had to stand a certain distance between someone and i couldnt hug anyone? thats the stupidest thing ever. the teachers dont teach you, they say what they will be teaching you, show you a video, then give you homework that is harder than what they taught you and wont help you even if you ask, they will say that you should have payed attention. WORST.SCHOOL.EVER.

i hate this school!!!! the majority of students curse at you, most of the staff doesn't care about you at all, and the principal has stupid rules where you cant eve hug somebody without it being pda. there are only a few good teachers in the school.
