Genuinely one of the most nostalgic experiences. The teachers were supportive of you, they cared a LOT about you, and there weren't any bad apples. One of the best times of my life. (However, as much as i love this school, don't bring your kids to it, because the school that comes up next is quite literally a dictatorship.)

They allow children to abuse other children , my son has been choked and his life threatened and have taken little action . The children have been a 5th grader attacking my son in K and then a 3rd grader attacking my 1st grader , on the play ground they attack him in groups .They put far too much focus on sliding scales of behavior so much so that my son has A honor roll and feels like a failure for not having A+ honor roll.

East has been a great school to us. It is a very high performing school with great teachers and staff.

This school has been a God send for me and my family. I have seen schools that don't go the extra mile for their students, schools that have no apparent leadership or experience in implementing what works and what doesn't, and I have seen schools that lack courtesy, compassion, and have no sense of respect for children or parents. I haven't seen a problem in any of these areas with this school, which is quite rare nowadays. This is a great school. These teachers work hard. They care. And I'm glad my little girl enjoys school, and loves her teacher. Every teacher is, and will be different... but all I have seen here at this school is a love of children, clear-leadership, and fairness.

My son is 5 and i thought this wud be a lovely school for my son. After enrolling my son i found a very different story. So off my son goes to school, 1st day fine, 2nd day he is covered with sand, i ask him how he tells me a mean kid pushed him over. I sent an email to the teacher she said she wud talk to him. 3rd day, my son comes home saying 3 boys surrounded him, teased him cuz he is small and then told him to jump off the top of the climbing frame. As a concerned parent (he could have broken his neck,or a bone) i contact the teacher, she pushes it to one side sayin 'its not a big deal' i told her he cud have hurt himself if had jumped off (thinking she would say she would keep an eye on him) she told me she would talk to my son about discipline. My son exercised self discipline and did the right thing going to his teacher and me. Teachers should be walking around the playground taking care of all the children not sitting down on the bench. Im very fortunate in the fact im removing my son from this awful place

Great school! My FIRST grader has a text book. They are making changes to make the front entrance more secure. Love it. Great teachers.

I absolutely love this school. My children have both improved on their reading and comprehension tremendously since we moved here last year. They love going to school now. I didn't experience the eagerness to get up in the mornings before. There is a very positive atmosphere about it and the kids love it.

My kids have been in this school for about three weeks, when I first went to visit the school I thought I was going to be very impressed. Now that have some good teacher, but they also have some issue: Like my kids have doctor excuse that says no sugar well I found out that they are still letting my kids eat sugar. I have address this with the school and they are not wanting to abide my a doctor not which concern. I happen to be moving so I don't have to worry about that no more.

okay i have to say this school is "beast" but there are a few things that got me for insistence i went to eat lunch with my kids and i saw what they were eating and it caught my eye they were eating pizza with french fries and left over pizza for breakfast and i really didnt like that and i went to the open house and great teachers!! but they told me that they werent using text books in 5 th grade soo that kinda makes me wonder what are they teaching my kids?! soo over all i will give them 3 stars but they are not challenging enough but the best things are is the teachers!!
