Keyser Primary Middle School is absolutely horrible. Communication is pathetic. They have School Reach phone automation, but they use it for intramural sports schedules religiously, yet don't bother to use it to let parents know about open house, parent teacher conferences, or any other academic purpose. They have Edline which they claim is a great communications tool, but many teachers don't update it until the week that the grading period ends,or at nid-semester at best. They have no control - they can't stop the kids from bullying and fighting during recess so they just don't have any recess for middle school. Leadership doesn't have a clue in the world - the good teachers and administrators all jump ship for better schools rather than try to tackle the horrendous attitudes rampant among staff. I feel sorry for the few good teachers there - they get a bad rap because the rest of the school is so pathetic.
