My family had a terrible experience with Roosevelt. My daughter is both autistic and gifted. She was accepted into the enrichment program at Roosevelt and during the month of September she spent 8 broken days there. The principal suspended her two different times in the brief time she attended Roosevelt. As a disabled 7 year old she was given less time to adapt to a new learning environment than adults are given to adapt to a new job. Awful awful school. I would think twice and then twice more before transferring your child to this location.

Roosevelt set the bar high. Our oldest has been in the gifted program for 3yrs, while our youngest has autism and has received assistance through the special education program. Both programs have served our family's needs well and exceed expectations to paint you a picture. The principal, Mr kotarak, is hands-on and has always been available to assist us when needed. He makes it a point to know the parents and motivate and encourage the students. As a mother of a child with special needs, I have never had to worry about my child; from meeting IEP goals to his social growth, his teachers have always kept me involved. I highly recommend this school/ community.

My daughter has attended Roosevelt for grades K-4 so far and she loves it! The staff are wonderful, dedicated people and the leadership at the school is competent and communicative. Through their international baccalaureate program, they teach the children to be self-reflective and self-aware. They help instill important values for success in relationships and academic achievements. I am very happy with the progress and level of engagement my daughter has experienced at Roosevelt. I would highly recommend this school for children in the community. The people that work at Roosevelt really care and it reflects in their students.

4 years of experience with the school so far. They are striving for international baccalaureate status and are doing such a wonderful job at it. The school is incredibly internationally minded and the teachers go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure each students' needs are met. The principal is incredibly interactive, knows most of the parents and students and just loves her job. We have yet to be disappointed with Roosevelt.
