HIGH! This is the best school and we specifically bought our house in this Ridge View's boundaries in order for our kids to go here.

I would rate this school a 0. My sons teacher has lied to me. I have gotten multiple stories about events that have happened here. Teacher has told me that she is too busy to grade homework. The teacher expressed that she didn't think my son was capable, but he proved her wrong. In the past the teacher has refused to meet with me. She then sent me a email saying "alright". At the meeting she cut me off, and she didn't answer my questions. The substitute teacher and student teacher were there the day that someone pushed my son down, and they let him sit in wet dirty clothes all day without calling me. The principal excused their behavior by saying "maybe they didn't see". I guess you didn't look at him once all day; I find that alarming. My son comes home hurt all the time. Most of times when I ask what happened the teacher isn't there, so she tells me that she doesn't know. I think they need more staff to watch the children. The principal Lori Butler has been told all of this, and all she had to say was "I not quite sure what I can do".

Once again a bullying issue. Horseplay is allowed and just a good old boys will be boys attitude. This school may be great for some students but if your child is the one being left behind and bullied then not so good. It seems as if this school pays lip service to the laws regarding bullying.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. My son was bullied there and the principal and teacher did absolutely nothing about it. In fact, the teacher said "they're just kids, I am sure they meant nothing by it". I wrote them letters, met with the principal. As far as bullying goes, and leadership- they are non existent. The principal seemed "feather headed" and took no accountability. They didn't care for my child. My son hasn't been going there for a while now.
