my son has attended here since first grade. hes been verbally harassed by his peers in front of teachers, coaches, ect. hes been physically hit by students. he was placed on the bus when he was a car rider. they are unorganized, blame the parent, and take zero accountability for the damage caused to my son. my son use to tell teachers when he was hit in the face or head or when kids chanted cruel words towards him but after a year and 6 weeks my son finally told me he cant tell teachers anymore because they never listen. they never take action. to top it off my son was put in lunch detention for throwing rocks. he was never told her couldnt play with the rocks. when a teacher asked him to put it down he did. however, he still got detention. their priorities are mixed up and i constantly hear the assistant principal yelling at the students. every week this year i have seen, heard, or been told something happened at the school. my son is now having panic attacks and is fearful of going to school. dont trust these people and take a stand. we as parents need to advocate for our children.

Moved our child within weeks from this school. I don't believe this is a parent friendly campus and the kids are not monitored enough - this is NOT a jr high or high school but ran very much like one. These kids are 10-13 years old not 16-18.

This is my son's first year in the Kaufman School District. He attends Lucille Nash. The school already made several mistakes with my son within the first 3 days of school. I have found the some of the staff to be very disorganized, rude and has no time for or to deal with parent concerns or staff mistakes. My son really likes most of his teachers and an aid and his fellow students. I do also agree that Nash needs to provide more supervision at recess.

This was my child's first year in public school (6th grade). He loved his teachers and grew as a student. The foul language during recess and lunch was a shock to him but he got used to it. Recess was rather dangerous and he was often injured during it, but he still loved it. I think there could be more supervision. Overall, he had a great year and experience. The Band Instructors are the best!
