This school has a lot of kids who bully other kids , at playground while being supervised by volunteers who do nothing of that matter to prevent the bullying from happening, turning heads and pretending to be blind at the situation I’ve seen it go on for 6 years , it’s exhausting to let teachers know and staff know what’s going on while they side-eyed the situation, when is it gonna stop? it’s not ok for my grandson to get chocked out by older kids at playground while trying to play with kids his age , I’m tired of the school not doing nothing about it , “go to the district and complain “ for what!? So nothing can be done and the bullying continues or gets worse do I have to remove my grandson from getting educated, due to safety reasons?? The teacher is well aware of the situation yet does nothing! Apologizing doesn’t fix the situation, like I said before it’s happened many times before and nothing was done enough is enough, I know there’s other parents who have dealt with this issue and nothing was done to prevent it or stop it from happening again “”STOP THE BULLYING “”

We love Sunnyslope! We have kids in the Dual Immersion program and they’ve learned so much. The staff is always great and the teachers are amazing. If I had to say anything negative, it’s just that they seem to change principals quite often but they seem to be going on to do something bigger within the district. All the replacements have been great so far.

I have 3 children they all have and 1 still attending this school. They were so helpful in identifying my sons needs for special education. They handled it with empathy and guided me through the entire process. He will be returning next year and I'm very excited for him to have Mrs. Joven as a teacher for SDC. The parent involvement really makes a difference. They do a lot for the kids and families.

My daughter Violet came here for 2 years in the SDC preschool program. The Teachers in her room are more than amazing. Mrs Robin Carver and Ms Anita Martinez have been wonderful and all the aides in the classroom are awesome! As we leave to go to the next part of her journey she will be going to another school for Kindergarten we will miss this school. The office staff has always been so kind and helpful and treated my daughter as their own. I cannot speak highly enough of our preschool experience. Violet and I will truly miss all of you. I have a child attending this school and I have been unsatisfied with this school. The secretaries here have been absolutely rude with me and so have the teachers. I do not like this school at all and plan to move my child to a different school to where teachers actually want to do their jobs correct. I gave this school one star out of five and I feel am giving them to much credit.

An excelent school. The new Principal made this a friendly school with focused teachers and eager students. It has a library that let the children borrow books and displays their projects. A lot of the parents are involved in the school as volunteers and they make the teachers more focused.

I have become more and more dissatisfied with this school. There are a few, maybe a handful, of great teachers. Mostly, the teachers are so-so. I reaize there is less money, but why do the teachers want to take that out on the children? Do the teachers have the "oh well" attitude? No wonder this school is so low on the list of good schools.
